It was my first time at the restaurant(Northgate mall) and I couldn't even finish the small burger that I ordered. It was very salty. My partner ordered leg quarter and it was also salty. I don’t know if it just happened to us or salt is their thing. That was my first and last visit.
In December you had a 'buy 1 get 1 free' on sale items promotion at Fourways. I bought a dress for my sister and shoes for my child. My sister did not like the design of the dress. I decided to take it back. I asked to have at least half of my money back. The guy refused on the spot. I was told I'll have to go back and get the shoes I bought together with the dress. I explained that my child loved the shoes and she wears them. I was told I have to go back and get them irrespective because I got them for free. I asked to buy something of the similar value which is on sale. The guy refused and told me the promotion ended in December. I asked a simple question "what should I do with the dress?" I was told I can refund it and get nothing back. I just want to know if that's how you do business
My Sister bought me shoes as a present last year around Christmas at Sandton. I didn't wear them until end of Feb I tried to wear them only to find size 7 doesn't fit me. I went to Northgate to look for size 8 but they didn't have. They told me only Randfontein has size 8 and I need a slip. I asked my sister for the slip and she managed to bring it to me recently. I saw your policy at the back but it was already late for me. Today I went to ask if they could give me a voucher to buy something else but I was told it's too late maybe if I can go to Sandton they'd help me. I didn't even ask for the money. What am I supposed to do with the shoes that don't fit me? I would force them on but they are too tight
I bought a baby beanie at Ackermans Randburg. When I wanted to put it on my child I realised the tag was not removed at the till. I tried to remove it but I couldn’t. Today my partner returned it to the store and when they removed the tag they found that it got damaged. She asked the guy by the name Gift(manager)if he could exchange it for her. He told her he can’t because it is not his problem that it got damaged. Then he walked away while they were still talking. I’d like to find out if this is how you do business. He didn’t acknowledge the inconvenience we were caused. The tag was supposed to be removed but it wasn’t. Returning it back cost us money and time. We bought the beanie with the intention of using it the following day. We had to make other arrangements. Now we are told this....
We have been waiting in a queue for over an hour and less than 5 people have been helped so far. It states on your profile that “no waiting in long queues “but what I’m seeing here is completely the opposite of that. No explanation of what’s happening. We’re just waiting and hoping to leave here before 19:00
<p>Last week I went to Edgars Northgate and I bought a Samsung J5 Prime as a present for my sister. I wanted one from MTN selling for R3499 but it was out of stock. Salesperson convinced me to take the one from Vodacom selling for R3799. He said he'll give me free headsets worth R300. His actual words "in fact they were R400, then reduced to R300". I asked him if the phone is a dual sim card phone and he said yes. I liked the deal since it saved me time going to other shops looking for the phone. The phone was wrapped beautifully and I left.</p> <p>Yesterday, when I gave it to my sister the phone was not a dual sim card. The headsets didn't look costly. I checked them on the internet and the price is R54,00. I didn't expect such from Edgars. I'm so disappointed </p>
