Pathetic marketing team that doesn't know how to word messages
<p>I was overseas for 2 weeks in December 2016, I put my MTN sim card on sms roaming and connected to free WiFi, as overseas free WiFi is offered everywhere.</p> <p>Every single day without fail mtn sent me a sms message stating and I quote: </p> <p>Alert! Data usage at Out of Bundle Rates! Special offer just for you! R10 for 50MB once-off Data Bundle valid for 7days, to buy dial *141*2*19311# now! No airtime? Simply increase your usage limit by dialing *141*1*7852# and select option 1. Ts&Cs.</p> <p>I got such a heart attack because I heard the stories of how people received ridiculous bills for data after being overseas, only to realise that this is a stupid marketing campaign, please MTN stop these terrible marketing campaignstrategy and stop spamming me everyday.</p> <p>The least you can do is send this message to someone who actually is using data at out of bundle rates, I always have a data balance so this message is pointless to me.</p> <p>MTN have become money hungry scavengers and are trying to get out even more money then they are already making not cool.</p> <p>When my contract comes to an end I will not be renewing with MTN.</p>
