I hired a vehicle from Hertz with unlimited mileage to travel from Cape Town International Airport back to Pretoria. Upon collection of the vehicle paid the charge for the vehicle with unlimited mileage, plus a holding deposit for insurance purposes in the case of any damage. Weeks have passed and I had not received my holding deposit back. I then called into Hertz to find out what the hold up was with regards to my refund of my deposit. The lady who assisted me said I forfeited my refunded because: 1.Unlimited kilometres are a precondition for using the vehicle for 3 days or more (Which was never communicated to me upon collection of the vehicle and that is not stated in the contract). 2.Having used the vehicle for a single day they charged a certain rate per kilometre travelled which they deducted from the holding deposit (Also not communicated with me upon pick up). The invoices I received from Hertz in the days following the drop off of the vehicle at the Hertz branch in Hatfield, never once indicated that an amount of R4608 would be deducted off the deposit. The only amount which was clearly indicated was the deduction of the Sanral eToll charge which was an amount of R48.91. I am quite upset at the bad communication and non-transparency from Hertz about the services being rendered. And quite honestly their explanation is still leaving me with a bunch of questions I feel are unanswered.
I have a problem with this company I was a tenant to them signed a contract stayed for 1year few months but out of nor ware during the month I received an email saying the place was sold I must move out end of the month then I was instructed to reply & agree as they said new owners wants to move in on the first then I did so I went to my urgent Kallie & tell him about the situation the we agreed saying the is another apartment at the same complex then I told him I will b happy if I get one but I don’t want third floor at least second floor will be better but I prefer 1st floor & bulcony he agreed then saying I must come sign new contract again I went to sign for the contract on the first as I had to move out after signing he said I must pay double deposit & the instalment So we can go to the apartment to view it,then I said as I had a lot of work let him go with my wife then they will call me he does that then found to say the place was not ready to move in still need to be renovated secondly was a third floor where I explained that I don’t want third floor & was no bulcony then while they were still there my wife called Merc& send the pictures to show that the r many things needs to be fixed & it’s not what we requested then I told Kallie immediately then he said the apartment that was supposed to be given tenants decided not to move out so he doesn’t have another apartment besides the one that is not ready then he said we can move in they will come fix those things while we r in but we didn’t agree as we were not happy about it the I told him we not gonna take the apartment he must not proceeded anything I need the reversal of my deposit that I paid same day then he said the money is in his Acc & will not show same day as I was transferring from fnb to standard bank but the office will refund now when I call the office they said I must write an email I did so they said unfortunately they will deduct 1month on my deposit I asked why they said they paid the owner for one month I asked how course I never moved to the apartment & I told them same day that I don’t want that apartment & I had to move out as moy furniture was outside & look for another apartment course i didn’t have the place to sleep & when I got another apartment ghetto needed a deposit & rent Upront to move in where I paid them for nothing I asked about my deposit for a previous apartment they said might take a month course they r not done about an inspection but already the is the person in
My cars are missing but no respond when I send the report tracker is not working,but still billing & debuting my account,worse no recovery team but the monthly fee is very high than other tracking componies
I joined a gym 2009 they debited R8000 in to my acc they said is for 3yrs thn i told them to revers the money i will pay as i gym i was paying them everymonth thn i had an bike accident i went to them &explain tht i cnt gym anymore course my ribs where cracked then they said no problem i was suprised whn i get better in 2012 iwent bck to them thn they said i owe them but if i proceed to gym they will cancel tht balance but whn i open a new acc they always said the balance is still on a system head office will call me of which they did &they said they will cancell tht debts last year was a lady saying i still owe them an amount of R2000 we made an arrangement of paying it i was paying until i lost their acc in feb bt now they put m on itc they said i owe R6.745 of which i only went to a gym the first year &i was paying course if u not payed u cnt even go in the gym
