I do not have anything to share about this company but I read a review saying the consultants are also to blame. I think it is unfair to blame the consultants as I am sure the owners informed the consultants to lie. Also, they are out of a job as well so it is very unfair to say they are to be blamed. The owners, share holders and anyone invested in this company should take full blame. What South Africa needs is something similar to what the UK has, protection from defunct and **** travel agencies. ASATA needs to put in place insurance to safeguard consumers who have paid out a lot of money for package deals and if the agency closes shop, the consumer can get paid out. ASATA needs to look into something like this urgently before another agency goes bust!

<div> We were left in a difficult situation when our travel plans were ruined a week before departure despite full upfront payment weeks back. We put our trust and hard-earned money, R150000 , into Priority Escapes to assist us with travel bookings. Unfortunately, the assistance we expected was not delivered, leaving us stranded. Upon realizing the gravity of the situation, ****** advised me to fill out the attached refund form, offering a glimmer of hope. However, despite our efforts and submitting the requested refund form, we are still left empty-handed. The refund we desperately anticipated never materialized, further adding to our distress.</div>

We lost our money! They sent a communication stating that they were under supervision and unable to meet their financial obligations. Their office in Fourways is now empty. We contacted a lawyer and also reached out to ASATA, the official organization of travel agents, to find out if we could get a refund from them, as they are meant to protect consumers. They responded that, unfortunately, Priority Escapes wasn't a member of ASATA!!! The representative strongly advised always traveling with an ASATA member travel agency and to check that they are registered with them before booking any holiday.

We have also been ****med by this company, we were supposed to go on our honeymoon in October but after paying everything in full we realised no bookings were made to any of the airlines, or the resort. We are looking on how to go about going to sue this company, if anyone has any information on how to go about sueing them please help. Thanks.

If I could rate them below zero I would definitely give them a - 5. Priority escapes is a ****!!! I after dealing with multiple different consultants because the previous ones kept on leaving. We finally managed to make a booking for our honeymoon. We paid a deposit of R20000 to secure our booking and advised on a date when we would pay the rest. My fiancé kept on following up and was advised all is on order. A few days ago he followed up again we were told the consultant he was dealing ALSO LEFT. Upon following up on the booking he was told Priority escapes is not making money they are closing down and any money paid will be forfeited. After researching the ****MERS were taking money up to and including the afternoon on the same day my fiancé called. How can a big agency close without notifying anyone and still accept money on the day of their closing????? People apid R250 000 on the day others were ready to board flights only to find out no tickets were ever booked. Others arrived to their destinations only to find out no accommodation was booked. HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO PEOPLE THAT WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY!!!!!

We paid for our Maldives holiday in June for the holiday in October 2023. We received an email saying priority Escapes is closed and your holiday cancelled. We tried contacting Priority Escapes but no response on any of their contact nos. or email. Those that have been affected should report this to SAP as we have done so. The more attention this gets hopefully we can recoup some of our money and the responsible people are held accountable.
