Our National Commissioner and Minister parade in the media pretending they are best thing happened to this department. Life changing events happening right now with me as a member. Since March asking to See EAP on September while on duty in hospital I put official fire arm and try to commit suicide the fire arm jammed. Video evidence are available. The Head of Centre visit. In the suicidal state of mind I finish the shift with the same fire same firearm still in my possession

I called the prison to book so we can be able to visit my brother but that booking department they are all rude, they don’t attend to calls and when they do their telephone etiquette is terrible, they shout at and drop the phone while you still talking and you will have to call them back because you want to visit your loved one 👎🏿☹️.

I have a client at Qalakabusha Correctional Center. He was faced with many challenges from being treated with ****** to having his human rights violated. My client is an Indian male who has face many challenges and has had cases with JICS against the section manager but unfortunately no action was taken against him. My client was verbally abused, being asked for money, and defamed by Mr Pheyane from Qalakabusha Correctional Center and therefore a case was opened against him. The matter was handled according to my client by Mr Pheyane and a superior Mr Miyeza. Unfortunately no conclusion was made about the matter. In the presence of Mr Miyeza my client was shouted at and called racial names but no action was taken instead the charges and investigations with JICS has come to an end and he was scott free. In January 2025 my client registered for an education programme to rehabilitate and was accepted by the school within the facility. Upon arrival to the section for scholars my client was called in to a office that's called a panel by Mr Pheyane and Mr Mabuyakhulu and told he cannot attend school because he is a C grouping and his sentence plan was not in his filing. Since when does education become a privilege when its a right in our country that every person has a right to education. It shows that correctional facilities are not correcting inmates but instead they are scoffing inmates for money and also depriving them their right to change for the better. I humbly request both these government officials be placed under investigation and suspended as I'm willing to file law suits and also will have this matter published in newspapers.
