i provided correct dimensions and 1 month after they delivered they took £72 from my bank for big size surcharge. i sent them screenshot of items that i was returning to supplier proving correct dimensions. they demanded photos of parcel with tape measure next to parcel (after 1 month it was delivered). i asked them to provide me proof that parcel was oversized and they said they dont have any details. didnt accept my photos with ordered items with exact dimensions. then stopped replying to my emails. this is ***** and ****,!

My experience with ParcelHero has been nothing short of awful, absolutely, and totally awful. You, parcelhero, arranged delivery of an item measuring 102 cm x 85 cm x 9 cm, which I dropped off at my local post office for delivery by Parcel force. Somehow , My huge parcel has been lost. I have come across nothing but prevarication and excuses by you for not paying out my claim for the cost of delivery, which was £22, the item of £45 or the fees that I had to pay to the seller of the item. Excuses, prevarication, and hurdles to jump to save £67 payout for your own mistake . How very very sad for a company to treat customers this way. Hang your heads in shame ParcelHero.  UPDATE: ParcelHero have totally declined to refund the item sale price as I do not have the original invoice for the purchase of this item from eight years ago. This, despite absolute proof that the item was sold, how much it was sold for, where it was sold, when it was sold, when their 'service' was purchased, when the parcel was dropped off and, their admission that my parcel has been 'lost' by the courier. BEWARE and be aware, before using this company.

This is the worse company I’ve ever come across. After missing 2 slots to pick up my parcel, they damaged my parcel I was returning for a refund to the original company. I have been corresponding since October for a chest of drawer I was returning to the company I purchased and they damaged the package and item inside in the delivery process. I took insurance and after providing everything they asked for they just emailed now to say I won’t be reimbursed my money. This was my baby’s chest of drawer. I haven’t got my refund and the cheek they have taken my money and after 2 months I received another email stating that I’ll be charged more money for an item they damaged and didn’t deliver. Stay well clear from this company they are horrible. There is no phone number only email service and whoever is behind these correspondences is as horrible as the company they work for. To start the year like this, im fuming. I will not let this go & I will be going to Trading Standards as I’m really appalled at this company and how they have handled this case. If you check social media there are hundreds of people complaining about this same issue. What’s the point of having insurance and in the end being left dry! If my parcel was delivered in the original condition I’d have received my refund and I wouldn’t need to claim. I won’t stop until I have my money back.

They deliberately under-quoted to get my business. I declared that my package was big and heavy, it did not arrive on time because UPS wanted (correctly) more money before they delivered. Without my intervention directly with UPS it might never have arrived because their "customer service" is possibly some sort of AI, or a little insignificant underpaid person working in a cellar somewhere.. Some days later my card was charged again. They basically ****med me into using their service by deliberately massively under-quoting and then walked away from it, until UPS back-charged. Exceptional service from UPS total ****ming incompetence from ParcelHero.

Shipped a printer I sold on ebay. They: -charged me £68 excess on £48 'overweight' delivery -ignored my evidence that the package was not overweight -sent me confidential responses meant for another customer -destroyed the printer -refused a refund

Would not recommend this courier/ middle man company. I used them as I thought they were good and would have efficient service. I was sorely mistaken. My package was lost with no update until I inquired after the 'expected delivery date'. I was then told I would receive regular update which I never did unless I inquired or emailed to ask. I also took out additional insurance as it was an expensive item to ship from SA to UK and was supposed to receive the full item value and shipment when my package was lost. I was then told my item was on the 'prohibited list' even thought I could not find it there and they couldn't refund me. I was then told a full refund for the shipping value was processed and would reflect within 5 days. 11 days later I inquired and they then said 'your claim has now been processed'. Rather worth it to directly through a recognised, respectable courier and save you the headache.

Don't use this company. They are brokers who are not at all interested in providing any assistance to their customers. They take your money and hand the parcel over to a courier and when the parcel does not arrive at its destination they do nothing to assist. They wash their hands of their responsibility. They don't read emails properly and respond by saying contact the courier. A parcel was collected from the UK on 13th July 2020 for delivery in South Africa. It is now the 29th July and the parcel has still not reached its destination. Parcelhero have done nothing to help with the delivery of the parcel and keep referring us to FEDEX to whom they sub-contacted. Trying to get hold of FEDEX in Johnannesburg has also been very difficult as they dont answer their phones. DONT USE PARCELHERO!!!
