Been using them for approximately 20 years , and I warned that I was going to move to another broker several times , and I should have long ago . When I have a claim once in a blue moon there is not follow up , a week after my vehicle was handed in at the PANELBEATER , there is still no authorization by the insurer , so I have to follow up and double check everything. Previously they advised me to change from SANTAM who I’ve been with for ever a who I was happy with to HOLLARD where I had big headaches . They also neglect to do the 20 000 000 public liability cover for my company when they moved me back to SANTAM , which could have been disastrous if something happened in the approximate 18 months when I did not have cover . They’ve had more than enough chances and I’m fed up with them

I had a very unpleasant experience with GIB Insurance Brokers, starting from when I submitted a claim in mid-December 2024. Despite the long wait, I am still awaiting feedback on my payout. The first issue arose with my tax directive. It was not submitted until I followed up, and even then, it was submitted incorrectly. This caused further delays, and I found myself constantly having to chase down updates. To date, I’ve sent numerous emails requesting feedback, but all I’ve received is vague information or promises to get back to me—nothing in writing. The most frustrating part of this whole experience has been the lack of communication. I only get responses when I call in, and at each point, I’m told that the issue is still being worked on and that I should wait. The repeated "kicking the can down the road" approach is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. In short, my experience with GIB Insurance Brokers has been far from satisfactory, and I cannot recommend their services to anyone. Their poor communication, failure to handle claims properly, and lack of accountability leave much to be desired.

One Insurance takes your money and when your car breaks down they will not tow your car because you have to ask for it when joining. Have you ever hear of a car insurance company that will not tow your car 5km down the road to your mechanic. My son's friends all came to his rescue and towed the car. That is why we must have friends in life. One Car Insurance what a ****. We had four small claims over the last three years and all were denied . Even my insurance broker agreed that they are the worst. He said they always have an excuse why not to pay. Never had this in my life.

A Client from Reef insurance drove into my vehicle a month ago and we have logged a claim against their client with Reef Insurance Brokers , they then logged a claim with their insurance provider Hollard and plainly told us to deal directly with Hollard and just cc Reef Insurance brokers in communication with Hollard . This is an Micky Mouse company . Taking the comision paid from their clients and just pass the buck and sit back and just reap in money . Hollard on the other hand is a no show . dont take any calls ,dont respond to mails only generic replies .This is the appethemy of tardy!!! How does company's like this keep the lights on and people still support them . I will never sighn up as a client with Reef Insurance Brokers nor Hollard as they are a bunch of clowns!
