My son completed his N4, N5 and N6 certificates with Northlink College Panorama Campus in years 2021 to 2022. We have to date not received any of his certificates, we have gone to the College to follow up. They have given email addresses for GHOSTS as these people don't acknowledge emails nor responds. I have sent numerous emails to Heads of the College with also no responds. They advertise for placements with SAPS certified copies of Certificates but how can we apply for a placement so that he can obtain him to graduate and obtain a Diploma in Human Resources Management if we can't even get this Certificates from the institute that is not supplying us with the necessary documents.

I was doing a Wholesale and Retail Management course at Northlink College, Parow Campus from Level 1 to Level 3. I started in January 2016 till April 2019 and I have never gotten any of my certificates. The only thing we got were the statements of results and that was it. I have been to the Campus a thousand times and the only thing I have gotten was that they are still waiting for the W&R Seta for the certificates. It's been 6 years waiting and I'm tired now. All I want is my certificates because workplaces wants certificates not SOR. I tried writing emails but I haven't gotten any response so I don't know what to do now.

If I could give a ZERO star that is exactly what I would do. Firstly the application process is one BIG F up online, not user friendly and getting hold of anyone telephonically is even worse. I've tried since 2024 to register and enroll ended up giving up on the process. Finally 2025 I managed to get hold of an actual person responding to email correspondence and student profile was created. Only to also get ghosted on the question about a bridging 1 year or so for the artisans trade. The rejection letter for the fields my son is interested in pursuing after his working GAP year, but there is no information of a bridging 1 year course that can be done for enrollment the following semester if you really want to pursue a career in a artisans trade field. NOT EVERYONE IS INTERESTED IN TOURISM, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT OR HOSPITALITY. I don't understand, if this is self funded, no NASFAS why this institution is so pathetic. Do you not want customers??? Northlink do better, your process stinks! There are more matriculants coming, and your staff is not equipped for online procedures. Would you be able to help walk-in clients better? I really hope so. Get with the times we are in 2026 and your online application process is upside down.

My daughter registered for an ECD course on 8 Jan 2026 at the Goodwood Campus. Registration was between 8-12 Jan. 2026. No emailed or sms notification was sent to ANY of the students to ensure they bring Police Clearances. Everyone was only informed upon arrival, which caused so much chaos, panic and uncer*****y. Students having to travel as far as Bellville and Paarl for clearances as Goodwood only does that Mondays and Tuesdays. Students were told they were advised via sms but this was untrue. Only on 13 Jan. 2026 students received sms's informing them to bring Police clearances - note AFTER CLOSING OF REGISTRATION for ECD Course, they were informed to bring the clearances. On day of registration they were also only told they have to submit their CV's which was not told to them prior to arrival. Fortunately, I had all the info on email with me and could email same to the assistant. Northlink should really up their game. When sending the email with the Registration Process info - PLEASE add that students are to have Police Clearance AND their CV's with them!!!! there were students crying - going into panic as they came from the Eastern Cape, unknown to the area for police clearances, etc. TOTALLY UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I must say Ms Sinethemba Thole was excellent with her assisting and guiding skills on 08/01/2026! She was so patient and friendly under the chaos arising, explaining down to a T and her calming & knowledgeable demeanor was so refreshing. Atleast she was a positive for the day. I made above suggestions to staff as it was total chaos with the lack of required information.
