In May 2025, I purchased a Brother printer from Makro. By July 2025, I started experiencing problems with the printer and returned it to Makro for repairs. Although it was initially fixed, the same issue persisted. I returned the printer again for a second repair, and unfortunately, the problem continued. On the third return, I requested a refund as the printer was clearly not serving its intended purpose. The matter was escalated to Mustek, and on 02 March 2026, I was contacted by Kelebogile, who indicated that the issue had been escalated to a technician for further investigation. However, I received no feedback thereafter. On 26 March 2026, I followed up and spoke to Nomvuyo, who assured me that she would look into the matter and revert back to me. No feedback was provided. On 27 March 2026, I called again and was informed by Nomvuyo that they would neither refund nor replace the printer, as they could not find any fault and suggested that the issue might be due to incorrect installation on my side. This response was extremely disappointing, dismissive and unprofessional, especially considering that I had already taken my devices to Makro during the second return to rule out any installation issues. I am very unhappy with how this matter has been handled. I am now left with a non-functional printer despite spending my hard-earned money on it for my children’s use. I request that this matter be urgently reviewed and that a fair resolution—either a refund or replacement—be provided. This experience has been frustrating, and I expected much better service and accountability.

You know what my mom used to say, if you have nothing good to say, rather keep quiet. That is how I feel about service from Mustek, communications are automated interjections. I had equipment there twice for service in three months, Were charged a second time under warranty of first repair with equipment not up to spec yet. One word. pathetic suits them well. Know this, if you buy any Mercer product, it will be your problem if anything goes wrong. Even after being charged twice for a fix.

Got a quote from Natasha on the 15th - accepted it and paid immediately - sent POP immediately - told an 8 week turnaround time. Now 3 weeks later a take the trouble to contact her and ask her if there's any sort of update. Get told she didn't get my POP so hasn't confirmed the order. I found the outgoing mail in my sent items and resent - what a bunch of amateurs

I brought in my laptop and charger for repairs, and Ellen D at the service department front counter was incredibly helpful. The technicians assisted me through her, and she made the whole process smooth. Her customer service was excellent, friendly, professional, and efficient. Thank you very much Ellen D

Stay away from these people, They don't care about their customers. You will be the one ending up apologizing to your customers and paying money out of your pocket because they don't know their products. They don't take responsibility for the product information they provide. The people their think they are the customers and they will tell you what is right and what is wrong. Closed my account now because of multiple losses and apologies I had to give my customers.

What a wonderful experience! Thank you Mustek (I think it was Thapelo, If I remember correctly) that were the technician. Really fast and caring service. And they saved my life because I can get back to work on my Asus Duo! It was a flawless experience.
