Evil treatment

Good day I would like to register my disappointment and dissatisfaction with the level of service I got since 2022. On Monday the 24-10-2022 I called Mercedes Benz grand central in Midrand to ask if I can drive or tow the car into the dealership for its last service as I know it will be out of motor plan if I exceed the 100 000 km mileage. I was told I can drive it in for as long as I booked it before I exceeded the mileage, I even asked the lady to be sure, she went to consult her senior and comes back to tell me everything is okay I can drive it and everything is in record as this happened telephonically. On Tuesday the 25-10-2022 I drove to bring in the car and at my arrival I was told my car is out of motor plan. I explained what happened but at last I was told they are sending to Mercedes Benz for approval. I registered my complaint with you on Thursday the 27-10-2022 as the dealership was telling me there’s no response. Then on the 01-11-2022 after I had made calls almost everyday to push for my response, the dealership told me they will only service the car but not the brakes because my car is out of motor plan. The reason I called in advance was to avoid such but yet I am being victimised for their instructions to me the customer and I find this very unprofessional. I only realise later that they **** they never serviced my car, i had to pay cash to service & fix what was caused due to lack of that major service. These branch is evil I am seriously hurt because I feel like I have been setup for failure so that they cannot fix & do major service. I never expected this treatment from a reputable brand like Mercedes and I can’t just let this go. Please find my case number 1-63847479577 for reference. Mercedes Benz Grand Central -WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!

Worst service ever! I'd never recommend anyone to this garrage, either for purchasing a car or taking your car for service. I recived the worst customer service in my entire life! from Erick -the service manager and Theo Lindeque - the service advisor. They're both rude, racist and unprofessional. The manner in which they communicated with me and my brother in-law was uncalled for, I will never forget. I took the car in because the engine light was ON on Tuesday. Theo (the service advisor) explained to me that it is a minor programming issue, I should take the car and "monitor" the light. Basically they just washed the car and brought it back, nothing was done to fix the engine light. On thurday same week i returned the car to the garrage because the engine light was still ON. Theo then called me while I was at work to tell me they're keeping the car-IN because the car is not safe to drive and driving the vehicle could cause consequential damage. BUT why didnt they tell me this on Tuesday when i brought the vehicle IN?? by Thursday we had made plans to travel as a family , everything is paid for.. and I am told the car is NOT SAFE TO DRIVE! Fine, I asked them to book me a rental car because we have made reservations for travel and I had explained our travel plans to them prior on Tuesday. They told us WE DONT GIVE OUT CARS TO ANYBODY ( Erick -the service manager told us this) . The tone and manner in which he said this was condescending and arrogant. He made us feel that he's doing us a favour for bringing the car to that garrage. Even if there are processes that needed to be followed he could've explained it nicely with professionalism. From that day I decided to take my car to the Mercedes-Benz Centurion garrage, and the car that was NOT SAFE TO DRIVE is perfectly fine. The engine light was switched- off! further programming was done by the Mercedes-Benz centurion and I never needed to keep my car in everrr. In all honeslty , the Mercedes-Benz Grand Central (Midrand) is supper busy. Sometimes you can take the car IN and they dont find time to look at it. Instead of them explaining the truth they cover-up with lies and attitude. It is such a disgrace for a well known brand to act with such unprofessionalism. I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANY OF MY FRIENDS, FAMILY NOR ENEMIES TO GO THERE. WHAT A WASTE OF A GOOD BRAND!! fyi - I logged a formal compaint also with Mercedes Benz South Africa.

Bad services.

I am very disappointed with the service I get from MBenz grand central. The company is gradually giving less regard to its customers, especially to me, because my car is no longer covered by the service plan. I booked my car in on Friday, was told to drop the car off around 6 /7am in the morning on Monday. I arrived there around 6am,and was attended to around 6h30.I was given a service consultant card for me to produce when I fetch my car. I waited the whole day for feedback from the workshop.I made several calls and I was promised that my car will be ready. I requested a lift, and when I arrived there around 15h00, I was told that my car will be ready by 16h45. I told the consultant that I will hang around the mall until the said time.To my surprise I got a call around 17h00 from the consultant who told me that they discovered that my car shocks were damaged, and an additional quote of +_15 thousand was given to me and that my car will be ready around 10am. Today I waited for a call to no avail. I made several calls, some were dropped,I persisted, until I finally got through..mind you I am immobile.. Just imagine!!! I think M /Benz is only for new cars that are still under service plan. If your car is out of plan, I think the best option is to take it to other service providers and not to the dealership. Today I am so disappointed.
