I have taken out a gift subscription for 2 magazines, one weekly and the second every second week to be delivered to my parents home
I have taken out a gift subscription for 2 magazines, one weekly and the second every second week to be delivered to my parents home. Debit order has gone off 22 Jan 2026, but to date we’ve received no delivery and only promises that the problem will be escalated. Then no further communication unless I contact them via either email or whatsapp.

I have taken out a gift subscription for 2 magazines, one weekly and the second every second week to be delivered to my parents home. Media 24 - ********* subscription renewal
12 months ago I took out a promotional subscription to the News24 publication. The T&Cs state that after the 12 months is up the subscription will automatically renew at the standard rate. All other subscription services have similar T&Cs, however other companies ALWAYS provide a notification advising the renewal is coming up and what the new rate will be. This gives a subscriber time to decide if they wish to continue at the new rate. Media 24 do not do this they simply automatically renew at the new rate (about 5 times higher!) without any notification. This means that a subscriber has NO option but to pay the new subscription rate for at least one month - and then only if they actually notice the new rate on their bank statements. Very underhand, dishonest and *********. When queried with Media 24 the simple call center response was "sorry, but its the T&Cs". So I and others will certainly get our news elsewhere.

Poor service!
I got bumped by one of the News 24 employees on the 28th of May 2025. I did a 3rd party claim , my claim was handed over to PVW attorneys , the service I'm getting from them is poor , I'm still waiting for payment even now . It almost feels like I'm dealing with a fly by night company .

Poor service!

You pay your Media 24 account every month via a debit order
You pay your Media 24 account every month via a debit order. Suddenly you are double charged ie two debit orders. You are told you are late as the account is paid monthly upfront. Apparently a system issue. How is this possible after 9 years and I may recall a similar concern some time back. It feels like a 13th cheque is created. Anybody out there with the same concern.

Media24 Intekenare swak diens
Ek sou n 0 rating gegee het as daar so opsie was. Ek sukkel al sedert Maart 2025 om tydskrifte te ontvang waarvoor ek reeds betaal het - elke keer is daar n nuwe verskoning. Dit vat hulle n week+ om op my eposse te antwoord en dan is dit net nog n verskoning - ek het al 3 keer gevra hulle moet maar my geld terug betaal dat ek maar self die uitgawes by die winkels kan gaan koop, waarna hulle maar net weer onverskoning vra vir die ongerief en nog n verskoning oor hoekom ek nie die uitgawes het nie. Ek kry nerens ****akbesonderhede oor waar ek my klagtes kan deurgee nie. Ek soek net dit waarvoor ek betaal het, of my geld terug.

In the article it says that I was arrested and that I was in prison that is completely correct. But it also says that I had 3 conditions for me to testify fir Dr Mathews Phosa, they where as follows , 1) I will not lie for it on behalf of any one, 2) Dr Phosa appoints some of his lawyers to assist with the case I was I prison for and 3) Dr Phosa would make a donation towards me which the amount is between us. But Dr Phosa thought it good and well to give this story to the Sunday World. Without my concent I never wanted it to be in the tabloids. Also the mere fact that he involved the news papers and even plaid the recorded conversation to the Reporter Satume Stone obviously ment that he would and have agreed to my 3 points I raised and said I will only do it if he fulfils his side. By publishing this he surely agreed. But he did not meet one of the 3 conditions. To such an extent when I got out of prison I contacted him and asked for financial help, till today nothing. Surely that means that this was a publisity stunt, at my expense. How can a billionaire do this how can a tabloid do this. What is in it for the Sunday World would you care to answer. Also why did several high profile people call and met with Investigating Officers in a case or cases that apparently had nothing to do with them, why did they contract Private Investigators, I know all they thought I was stupid they say I am not allowed to talk about them but they talk about me. This is where it ends I will not shear to them not only Dr Phosa but others as well that always try and scare me. I am not ashamed to say this as it's TRUE my mobile number us **********
