Auto and General approved 4 claims
Auto and General approved 4 claims. However this not very reputable company is refusing to polish the entire vehicle and just the side they have repaired. Now I drive a Brand new 2023 VCross However Mccarthy seems to think it's normal to polish one side of a new vehicle leaving the front fender and back bin lining unpolished. This insurance claim is more like a money making scheme as an additional fee of +- 2k is required to polish the undamaged area. To top of my frustration I health with a lady at the durban branch telephonically and was absolutely disgusted with the way she handled the call. Now I am fully aware times are changing and so is everything in this country but what happened to customer first? We seem to be obligated to this level of service.

McCarthys Auto Trimmers Maitland... What a joke, terrible service, slow feedback and poor work done on seats!!! Took in my Toyota Quantum for custom seat covers, obviously had to pay before I collected my vehicle, the result I got was such a disappointment since they make bunch of promises. Terrible stitching, week later already got ripped open on some spots, poor quality material, and the fit on the seats was a joke. I phoned and send photos, got bunch of promises that someone will come out to me since I live 3 hours away to fix the problem, no one showed up. It has been months and still no feedback from the offices, at some point the "boss" would have phoned me to sort out the issue, as you can guess, no phone call. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Bad Experience
So guys, I posted a review about M-Sure and The Unlimited on Wednesday regarding a claim that was taking forever to register and to get feedback from them, so that was resolved the very same day, happiness. Everybody was phoning me, promising me the world, very next day I received the authorisation letters for the repair work to proceed. So, Mc Carthys Auto Trimmer phoned me, on Thursday to make a booking for Today (Friday, 04/03/22) at 13:30. So I waited and waited and waited around 15:00 I contacted Mc Carthy and a very Friendly and very helpful lady, called Sharon assisted me, the technicians told her at that time that they will be with me within the next 30 min. At 16:00 I phoned them again, cause I was still waiting for them, and the technicians told her they in my street. 16:40 I phoned them again, cause I was still waiting, just to hear that Sharon cannot get hold of anyone at the Durban branch. Eventually just before 17:00, the branch Manager contacted me, apologising for the misunderstanding and guess what guys, they not coming anymore, so now I have to wait till Monday to hear from them again.

Excellent Service - Durban Branch
#SupportLocal These guys are amazing. I have used them twice already and they are friendly, helpful and their work is spot-on. From the emails to the actual job on hand, I would highly recommend them for minor scratch and dents. The best part is that they are mobile and so efficient and you don't have to be without a car for even a day.

Excellent Service - Durban Branch

Excellent Scratch Repair by the Vaal Franchise
Marius from the Vaal Franchise repaired a deep scratch in the door of my Land Cruiser. The workmanship was excellent and the colour machine perfect. There arrived promptly at the agreed time and were done in the 2 hours that they indicated. I am very happy with the end result.

Excellent Scratch Repair by the Vaal Franchise
Marius from the Vaal Franchise repaired a deep scratch in the door of my Land Cruiser. The workmanship was excellent and the colour machine perfect. There arrived promptly at the agreed time and were done in the 2 hours that they indicated. I am very happy with the end result.
