14+ Months of Negligence & Ignored Complaints in Child Maintenance Case at Germiston Court – Provincial Head & Acting DG Silent
In January 2025, I opened a maintenance case at Germiston Magistrate’s Court for support for my child. Court official Mandla failed to properly trace and serve the respondent despite contacting him and forwarding a subpoena by email. He referred me to official Calvin, who also failed to process the matter, resulting in my name not appearing on the court roll for the 25 March 2025 date. After these clear failures in basic case management, I lodged a formal written complaint with Gauteng Provincial Head Mr Tsietsi Z Malema on 23 May 2025. When there was no response, I followed up on 26 May 2025. He simply forwarded the complaint back to the same Germiston Court with the note “check clients complaint” and provided no acknowledgment or reply to me. The manager later contacted me, asked me not to write to the Provincial Head again, and promised to handle the matter. She issued new dates and reported limited actions (referral to Department of Labour due to outdated employment records), but provided no meaningful progress. On 30 July 2025 she asked me to wait until 1 August 2025. I am still waiting for any feedback. I have since moved back to Roodepoort and obtained updated employment information for the respondent. On 2 March 2026 I requested via WhatsApp that the file be transferred to Roodepoort Maintenance Court. Despite assurances and my follow-up email on 26 March 2026 (with staff copied), there has been no confirmation of transfer or progress. I sent another email today. On 18 February 2026 I escalated the full matter in writing to the Acting Director-General, copying Mr Malema. To date, neither has acknowledged or responded. I have exhausted internal remedies at every level. Over 14 months of repeated negligence in tracing, service, documentation, and file transfer has left my child without maintenance support. This is not acceptable service — it is maladministration. I demand: Immediate transfer of the file to Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court with written confirmation to me within 7 days. Proper tracing and service of the respondent using the updated information I have provided. Investigation into the conduct of Mandla, Calvin, and Daphney at Germiston Court. Written explanations from Mr Tsietsi Z Malema and Ms Kalayvani Pillay for their failure to respond. I have retained all records of correspondence, dates, and interactions. MARYLIN COURT, Scottburgh
Located across the road from the beach, Marylin Court is an older building and although not ultra modern, it is well maintained and flawlessly managed. Staff are friendly and helpful and the gardens are beautiful. The unit we occupied was clean, comfortable and had a neat, well-equipped kitchen. Secure parking and a secure, quiet complex. I highly recommend it.

MARYLIN COURT, Scottburgh

Good day I wanna aware everyone sbout Boksburg magistrate court and lawyers are doing wrong things to menbers of public. I fixed a friends cars and last one i ztoppep any furtger repairs and retain it. The magistrate gave a judgnent and come brake the house anx take the car out of my hands THEY ARE SAYING I WAS INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR ALL CAR AND GIVE IT BACK TO THE OWNER. BUT THEY DID NOT GAVE ME ANY MONEY TO FINISH TGE CAR. BIG SINDICATE EXTORSION PEOPLE. NOW BECAUSE I KEPT THE GEAR BOX OUT THEY ARE SAYING I CAUSE DAMAGES. Bad service. Ractual and language communication issues.... I am english spoken...
On my arrival at 08h00 to the maintenance court in Pretoria North Court, at the maintenance section. I was rudely treated by the staff, they communicated to me in a language I don't understand and yet they hear I am English. The attitude the staff give is totally u except able. They treat u as if they are doing you a favour... I m very offended and feel treated like a animal.... Changers need to be made and mix caltures should be at work here, not only one race.... I am not happy.....

Hy my name is mercia Mbhele i live in khutsong carletonville, i had a case of gender based violence (GBV) against my husband around june 2025 then while in process with the case, i was advised to open a protection order against him which i did,, my husbands came and broke the windows at my home with stones after a breakup. We opened a case against him bcos he was refusing to buy the windows with proof of him refusing to buy the window and him breaking the rules of my protection order against him. He was picked up by a pice van and they helped him to get the windows bcos they where concern abt him loosing his job and not my safety On the 01 August 2025 the (gbv) case was withdrawn on the 23 august 2025 he hit me with a stick and broke my arm,, got arrested then got bail 😔😔😔. I fail to understand how can he got bail after so many incidents against me and he broke the protection order agreement 🥹🥹🥹. Just bcos he works under government his work is more precious than my life. Our saps and judges are failing us as womans. Now i cant go anywhere bcos im scared not knowing what he will do to me next😔😔. I saw wish this can reach the high court magistrates and get answers. 0691930906 its my contact number. Im shuttered

Bojsburg magistrate court Magistrates are *******ed, they work based in personal relation chip with lawyers and not with TRUTH LIKE LAW SAYS. They work with lawyers with they law firm false registration business address, not corresponding with a law firm registration referral letter.(non existing offices) Magistrate don,t allow us to TALK, we tried to say the truth and stop hearing false alegations from a kawyer without PROOF.Mgistrate threaten us in remove us out if court room. We comunity need to STOP this wrong doings from thus VULTURES. I TRIEDall over to report and get the fair honest justice, *******ION IS A BIG CHAIN OR LINK nd impossible from breaking. Lawyers is a goup of *******ed sindicate and DESTROYING US.

Absolutely hobble maintenance office. Officials are ******* and hold personal grudges , then systematically hold bad your case...six months no help with maintenance . I have escalated to the court manager and supervisors..I was told to go to high court
