My family and I visited Little Neros on Christmas Day. We didn’t have a booking, and we were told there was a waiting list for walk-ins. I gave my name and number to be added to the list and was told we would receive a call once a table opened. While writing my details, the staff member repeatedly spelled my name incorrectly. When I politely corrected her, she dismissed me by saying “it’s fine” instead of allowing me to spell it properly. A person’s name deserves respect especially when they are providing it clearly. The attitude was unnecessary and unprofessional. We waited from about 13:40 to 16:30 and never received a call, even though we were assured we would be contacted. Our Christmas plans were affected because we waited in good faith for a table that we were never updated about. This experience showed poor customer care, poor communication, and a lack of respect for guests. I hope management addresses staff training, professionalism, and the waiting-list process so other families don’t go through the same thing.
