Golf Cart Scam
2 Oct ordered Golf Cart with Trailer after checking out www.golfcarthome.net and no negative reviews found on internet. Jeff Green 021 813 6609. Following tel no were listed in the investigation: Liquid Telecommunications SA when you phone 0218150169. Is Jeff an employee at there? Acc FNB 62913437952 is used with address 39 V Riebeeck Str, Vredendal for payments. Sunday/early Monday When not receiving the tracking no, phoned the bank to do stop payment. Meantime, Mr Jeff Green arranges for delivery through Transcargo (0114446452) but no longer in use. Only emails are used and Transcargo sends a bill for R18 000 for transport insurance, even though i confirm that the insurance is already in place. Therefore, they then rather cancel the delivery - that is when i asked whether this is a scam? Since i then arranged with Jeff Green to pick the cart/Trailer up from the factory, he is no longer contactable. Luckily, the banks have put a stop payment and hopefully our money should be returned from FNB to our ABSA account sooner rather than later. if you had the same experience our case no at Garsfontein police is CAS 60/10/2021 and ABSA ASZA211001689 AND FNB 20211452704
