Went in to get blood tests done and was absolutely blown away by the professionalism, courtesy and efficiency of Valerie, the Nurse stationed there
Went in to get blood tests done and was absolutely blown away by the professionalism, courtesy and efficiency of Valerie, the Nurse stationed there. Its certainly the first time I've had bloods drawn without any pain at all. Well done Valerie, keep up the sterling service, and don't lose the charm - the medical profession needs more people like you💪💪

Went in to get blood tests done and was absolutely blown away by the professionalism, courtesy and efficiency of Valerie, the Nurse stationed there. Its certainly the first time I've had bloods drawn without any pain at all. Lab 24 = poor service
This lab takes close onto 2 weeks to provide simple results for glucose, kidney function and cholesterol levels. They are also not responsive to queries and not honest when you query. They claim to be service orientated and affordable. I might as well pay more for effective and efficient service

Disappointed
Extremely disappointing experience with lab 24 Mt Edgecombe branch. The lady Melanie called me to follow up with a query and was so rude and abrupt on the call. I asked her to be kind on the call when dealing with me or any other patient. She screams and shouts. Such poor telephone ethics. The nurse was amazing, but the admin lady really poor service.

Disappointed

I am would write to express my deep disappointment with the service I received at your store on Saturday, 26 October. During my visit to Checkstar Mount Edgecombe, I was treated very poorly by one of your cashiers, Ms. P Ntuli.When I attempted to purchase groceries and requested R1500 cash back, as advised by the manager, Ms. Ntuli’s behavior was unacceptable. She made me feel unwelcome and embarrassed in front of other customers. Despite using till number 2, which did not have cash back, her attitude was dismissive and disrespectful, treating me as if I were a beggar.Such treatment is not only unprofessional but also deeply hurtful. I believe that all customers deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. I hope you will address this issue promptly to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an unpleasant experience.

Refusing patients their rights to their results.
I love this lab, it's affordability and the pathologists generally do a good job drawing blood but they are the only lab in SA that denies a patient their rights to their own blood results! Complete disregard for POPIA, and I dont know how they still get away with it. Their invoicing system is a disaster, requesting an invoice for tax returns or medical aid submissions just doesn't work. There's no unit price per test on the invoices just a list of tests and a total. If you pressed for money, it's great, if not save yourself the hassle and stick with lancet and ampath where your results and invoices are literally an app away.
