I had a disappointing experience with Kia Glen Motors during my recent vehicle purchase process. I initially enquired about a specific vehicle advertised on their website and was informed that it was available. Based on that information, I submitted all my documents, my application was processed, and I was approved. However, when it came time to sign the contract, I was suddenly informed that the vehicle was no longer available and was encouraged to consider a different brand, which was not what I wanted. A day later, I was told that a similar model had been located at another branch and a contract was sent to me. Throughout this process, communication from the dealership was poor and I often had to follow up myself to understand what was happening. The only person who consistently kept me updated was a lady from the head office via WhatsApp, and I appreciate her efforts. After receiving the contract, I signed it online and even completed the debit mandate approval. Since it was over a weekend, collection was moved to Monday. On Monday, I was told there were delays and collection was moved to Tuesday. On Tuesday, it was moved to Wednesday. Then on Wednesday, I was informed that I would not be receiving the vehicle after all because it had multiple issues. At that point, I was again offered a different, lower-spec model that I did not want, and later told to consider a vehicle from Cape Town, which added more confusion to the process. What disappointed me most was not only the delays but the lack of proactive communication and the repeated changes after approvals and signed documentation. I expected a smoother and more transparent process from a dealership. I hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer experience for future buyers. In the end, I had to personally visit Kia Pinetown, where the team warmly assisted me and helped facilitate the cancellation of the Kia Glen contract. I appreciate their professionalism and willingness to help resolve the situation.

Recently bought a car on the dealership and I informed the sales agent that I'll be using it for uber and everything should meet the standards of dekra, I was informed that everything is in order and a 125 point check has been done and the car passed roadworthy. To my surprise when I took the car to dekra which they recommended the car failed X3, went back to the dealership and raised the issues with the manager, he then agreed to fix the issues and refund me in full on the amount paid to dekra and I signed the required forms, 2 weeks down the line I haven't been paid and I've been getting stories from the agent.

I referred my client to Kia The Glen he bought two cars from them one of the cars been a Renault Kwid from the day of delivery the car has been giving him endless problems the car was taken back to the dealership 3 times in the 2 months he has the car for the same problem his driver was even in an accident because the car lost power. He took the car back for the same problem it previously encountered and now they diagnosed the car saying its a different fault now it is expected for him to pay for something that was not his fault the car has been more at Kia than been in his possession I will never refer anyone to that dealership the service is bad
