Horrific customer service at jvc

I bought a jvc Bluetooth speaker from checkers in 2024 black friday and tested it once to make sure it was working and due to work and travel I came back home like twice for the year of 2025 and when I got back in December 2025 I realized that the speaker is not charging,so I went back to the checkers branch and reported that a speaker isn't charging and they told me because it just went out of warranty which was almost a month, I can't be assisted and I explained to them that I didn't know it's out of warranty and thays not the point ,the point is I bought a product that has a problem and because of my working schedule I didn't have time to use the speaker because if I picked up a fault I would have brought it to the store ,I brought all the items that was still in the plastic not used not opened even the packaging was in great condition and they did see it wasn't used but because of warranty they couldn't assist,so I got a hold of the manager of jvc to assist and sadly he didn't respond like he said he would ,it's sad how pathetic customer service is when there is a issue and when time to buy everyone is running to assist,it is better to buy from the foreigners shop than jvc because they understand people and customers service,if I had bought from a foreigner and had a problem they would have sorted it out.

My advice is people don't support jvc because they absolutely pathetic in customer service
