Exceptional Experience
Moved last year and the experience was exceptional. From receiving our boxes all the way to packing our whole house into the truck and delivering all our boxes and furniture to our new home. Would HIGHLY recommend using Joe Trucks for moving, big or small they are equipped to do it all.

Exceptional Experience
Moved last year and the experience was exceptional. From receiving our boxes all the way to packing our whole house into the truck and delivering all our boxes and furniture to our new home. Would HIGHLY recommend using Joe Trucks for moving, big or small they are equipped to do it all.

Joe trucks is amazing will use him again
I have been using Joe Trucks twice and I'm very Happy with his service one was from krugersdorp to oaktree and from delmas to krugersdorp he gives boxses before hand when you also to struggle to get boxses i will for sure use him again his staff is also very friendly and they managed all my furniture very well im very happy

Joe trucks is amazing will use him again

ShoutOUT! to a great team!
Thanks so much to everyone at Joe Trucks for helping with our move from Johannesburg to Durban. The weather caused a few hiccups along the way, but the team worked hard and made sure everything got packed safely. By the time we arrived, the beds and boxes were already in the right rooms, which made settling in so much easier. Really appreciate all the effort – you definitely went above and beyond!

ShoutOUT! to a great team!
Thanks so much to everyone at Joe Trucks for helping with our move from Johannesburg to Durban. The weather caused a few hiccups along the way, but the team worked hard and made sure everything got packed safely. Joes a very reliable understanding moving company
so we had a very very good experience with Joes trucks, not only were they very efficient but they were so understanding and so so kind to our kids that would get under their feet every now and again, our move happened very suddenly end of December 2025 in a very busy time they made a plan, they cared for our furniture as if it was their own things, we will most definitely recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you Joe and staff for making a very stressful move barrable.

Joes a very reliable understanding moving company
so we had a very very good experience with Joes trucks, not only were they very efficient but they were so understanding and so so kind to our kids that would get under their feet every now and again, our move happened very suddenly end of December 2025 in a very busy time they made a plan, they cared for our furniture as if it was their own things, we will most definitely recommend them to our family and friends. Thank you Joe and staff for making a very stressful move barrable.

Joe Trucks............... The stuff nightmares are made of
Joe Truck People, if you ever come across this business……………… RUN!!!!!! This guy is like a middleman, and does not have ANY trucks. I have contacted Joe Truck for a quote to do a household move from Rustenburg to Bot River in the Western Cape. He quoted me R24 000.00 and requested a deposit of R4000.00. We agreed on this and paid the deposit of R4000.00. Although I did a correct inventory of furniture / goods to be moved, I insisted that he must come and do a physical assessment of the furniture / goods to be moved, and to verify that the quote was in order. He sent a representative to do an assessment, and it was confirmed to be correct size truck would be sent. The truck arrived at my residence on 29 November 2025. It was very small, and I asked the driver if he was going to be able to load everything. He insisted that the truck was large enough. In the end the truck was too small, and they left with half of my furniture on the truck, and the rest stored in the garage of the residence being vacated. The left-over furniture were collected in the next week. The furniture was taken to Pretoria where it would be loaded on a big removals truck. My husband and I then drove down to Bot River (our new residence), and trusted Joe to honour our agreement. I contacted him to enquire when the truck will arrive. On 4 December 2025 he was still not sure. He started giving us the runaround, and kept on telling us ‘the truck is on its way’. The lies and runaround continued all through December, and it was one promise after the other. When I realised that we are not going to receive our furniture I asked him to at least water my plants. He moved all the potplants to his residence and looked after them. This is when all the stories started. The times we were able to reach him, we were being told story after story. Eventually he said we should wait till January ‘after the December rush’. In January 2026we contacted him again, asking what he is doing to solve the situation. More and more lies followed. (Telling us the goods is being loaded, and then again that it would arrive within a week, etc, etc) We then decided to contact another removals company ourselves, and arrange for collection of the furniture. Joe was furious about this, telling us how ungrateful we were, as he stored our furniture for us and he watered our plants. He said that we were ‘’underquoted’’, and that is why the furniture was not sent. Please note that since the beginning of the madness, this was never mentioned. We than received an invoice from Lock and Store’, to the amount of R3936.00, and had to pay this amount in full in order for our goods to be released. (Please take not of the fact that we never authorised any storage arrangements). The furniture was supposed to just be moved from Rustenburg to the Western Cape. The total amount we paid the other removals company was close to R18 000.00 When we asked Joe what about the R24000.00 we paid him initially to do the job, his answer was that he did not have any money ‘as it was a bad month, it being after Christmas and all’. He did absolutely nothing for us, and we basically had to pay twice to have our furniture moved.

Quick to take cash, but slow to deliver on customer service
If i can put a o star rating it will be too much for the level of quality I have recieved from this company, call Joe the owner, tell him where I am moving to and the load that needs moving, we both agree on a 4 ton truck, I get the invoice and pay my deposit, happy to finally find a reliable moving company. Then the day before my move (move is scheduled for Sat 29th Nov, I check in to see if all is well, and lo and behold "the 4 ton wont be big enough, lets look at 8 tonne, but quote will go up) after arguing we finally agree all is well and he will see me at 09:00 on sat 29th Nov, then again Sat morning "4 ton not big enough will send 5 ton, please pay extra R500). Back and forth again the whole day until we finally agree on the 4ton truck ( Sat 09:00 no truck, 10:00 no truck, truck arrives at 11:00, 2 hours later than agreed). Truck gets loaded and we are in transit, Joe owner sends me whatsapp, Please put extra R500 on top because 5 ton truck is enough for this load and not 4 ton ( please remember that owner of the company said 4 ton truck will be enough to transport list of goods given, list still the same so why get a bigger truck? We get to delivery address and after telling the driver to go in the steep driveway forwards and not backwards, he goes in backwards, uses the gate rail as leverage to get up and snaps the gate guide bar on the gate rail, Driver says he is not responsible, speak to the owner of Joe Trucks, I thought driver was part of the company, but when contacting the owner of Joe trucks , I am told that the driver is not part of his company and I must sort with drive directly. I paid Joe trucks for the move, not "Truck for hire", why must I sort it out, now owner says he wont help. DO NOT RECOMMEND, QUICK TO HELP AT FIRST, BUT ONCE DEPOSIT IS PAID, THEN THE REAL COSTS COME IN. STAY AWAY (P.S I HAVE WHATSAPP CHATS TO CONFIRM EVERYTHING THAT WAS MENTIONED ABOVE)***ner says i can gladly mention him on Hello Peter, so clearly he is ******** about what customer service is, or where his error in this is found.

Last minute planning that was a huge success and relief!
Last minute move planning, and on behalf of an elderly couple - with much more goods than they said they have... but yet the move was on time, friendly staff, the move went really well! Goods were handled with care & unpacking was done fast, efficient, they took initiative! They really are affordable and reliable., thank you Joe & your team.

Last minute planning that was a huge success and relief!
Last minute move planning, and on behalf of an elderly couple - with much more goods than they said they have... but yet the move was on time, friendly staff, the move went really well! Goods were handled with care & unpacking was done fast, efficient, they took initiative! They really are affordable and reliable., thank you Joe & your team.

Bad service
Bad experience.. use them the first time last year December 2024 to move from Pta to KZN. Truck.only got there a day after late at night with no update .. then apparently drivers was locked up due to truck not roadworthy. I use them again in October 2025 - arrange to load specific stuff .. send photos and agreed on a price. When they got there they said it was to heavy and can't load ... load stuff that I did not specify and charge me R1000 more for not even half a load. Waited 3 days for delivery without any feedback if I dont ask and when they arrange a time the don't deliver and I have to constantly beg them for an update. Will never use them again!!!

Bad service
