Integrisure should be renamed Ineptisure. Integrity: 0 out of 100 Insurance cover: 0 out of 1,000. Communication skills: 0 out of a million. We were victims of the floods that ravaged Nelson Mandela Bay 3 weeks ago. All that saved my house from devastating damage was a trusted contractor who came out in the wee hours to stop water going throughout the whole house. None-the-less we did sustain serious damage which my contractor could have fixed weeks ago if Integrisure had not adopted the most appalling delaying tactics. Did they think I deliberately flooded my home? Cutting a long story short, their staff claimed not to know what is going on when today phoned for updates. Now I am told there has to be a second quote – my contractor, who I know and trust, compiled a lengthy, detailed assessment report and a quote, all at his own expense which Integrisure have been sitting on for over a week. This after someone phoned me on Friday asking to do a quote this coming Wednesday. I agreed. They phoned back later that day to say that the appointment had been cancelled at the assessor's request. Why? But before anything can happen I must wait for a second quote on June 4 – A FULL MONTH AFTER THE FLOODS - before my claim can even be considered. That leaves me living in a cold, damp, smelly house for at least another month. Not acceptable. This is not the first time I have had a problem with this company: three experiences, not one of them good. Frankly, I would rather have all my teeth extracted without anaesthetic than deal with Integrisure’s incompetence. My advice: Avoid them like the plague.
