Elaine's Boutique
Based on recent customer reviews, Elaine's Boutique presents a deeply divided picture. A recurring theme among detractors is suspicion that the business resells cheap imports from Temu and Shein at significant markups, with customers consistently mentioning undelivered orders, unanswered support emails, and a physical Wynberg or Cape Town store that allegedly does not exist. Conversely, a smaller group of satisfied buyers praises the fit, fabric and emotional lift of certain dresses, describing them as flattering, comfortable and worth the wait when they do arrive.

Placed R2,000 order 18 Dec 25 - it was apparently delivered about a week later / to Sandton - I am in Cape Town. Most frustrating is their total lack of response to about 20 emails I have sent - not a word. Can't recommend

Beware of Elaine's boutique that is advertising a close down sale on fb. I ordered two items from them. It took ages to arrive but did eventually. I am reasonably happy with the items but they are worser quality than what they looked like online. They said they had an online store in Wynberg Village and posted a photo of the store, so I foolishly thought it was legitimate. I asked to come in to the store and said I would come there this afternoon. When I went there today, it didn't exist and another clothing store in the road said it had been open for years and there hadn't been a store named Elaine's boutique the whole time they have been in the road. Rumour has it they buy from cheap outlets and then mark the clothes up and sell them online, on the basis of a forever sale.
