On April 11, 2026, around 8 AM, I left my wallet in my room [Room #***] at Hotel Sky Cape Town while going for breakfast. Upon return, $100 USD was missing—likely taken by the cleaner during housekeeping. I reported it immediately to front desk

As returning clients and celebrating a special birthday, I would like to have had a higher floor, like requested, we even checked in later to get a higher room and was put in the same room that was originally allocated. Even went during my stay, to ask the receptionist, and I was told it was not available. When I saw a air host got allocated a room on the 24th floor .... how does that work?

Fantastically located with easy access to all amenities, the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain. However, you are into back back packing. I would not recommend. The rooms are so crammed they feel like a fancy prison cell. Absolutely no space to walk between the bed and wall with the tv. Toilet & shower have a divider in between that does not reach the ceiling. The hotel is also full of young adults (age range 18 - 23). Cape Town has far too many other options for me to come back.

An absolute dream... Everything about Hotel Sky was beyond breath-taking, from the beautiful views at the breakfast table to the warm welcome at the reception desk. It was an absolutely seamless process to secure my booking and I was completely taken by the finer details. It was our wedding anniversary and we were greeted with a beautiful card and a box of sweet treats waiting for us in our room. A 10/10 for cleanliness all round, the breakfast spread was just delightful and the staff were some of the most nicest people I have met. And the location was just perfect since the waterfront is mere minutes away.

I had a booking for January, which was cancelled, it has now taken 6 months for the refund to be processed. Despite constant follow ups and requests for updates. It took 3 months to get a proof of payment which wasnt even for my booking!!! this is absolutely not acceptable.
