Based on recent customer reviews, Haval SA is facing significant dissatisfaction across its dealership network and aftersales support. Customers consistently mention prolonged repair delays, with vehicles sitting at service centres for weeks or months awaiting parts reportedly back-ordered from China. A recurring theme is poor communication, unreturned emails, and a lack of courtesy vehicles during extended downtime. Buyers also raise concerns about recurring mechanical faults on near-new vehicles, warranty disputes, and unprofessional dealership conduct. Isolated positive feedback highlights friendly service staff and good progress updates during routine servicing.

If I had a choice Haval would be getting zero stars from me. My H6 isn’t even 4 years old and I needed a full engine replacement for multiple oil leaks. I had to fight tooth and nail for a courtesy vehicle, it took 12 weeks to get my back, and it has broken 3 times in a month. Haval SA is a joke. No customer service, no care in the world. I will never purchase another Haval again. Shocking service, bad attitude and only cover ups for their identity!

I have encountered defective work on the Chrome Plated Chrome Trimmer on my car and grill.I was advised it's the products I am using on my car.My other cars are washed with the exact same products and nothing is wrong. The other trim Plates on the Haval are all in good order there is nothing wrong with it.So how can the products be blamed. I emailed Haval about 3 times and received no response not even an automated response. A mechanic told me it's the products I am using, he is not even a qualified paint specialist. The black on the grill is not damaged only the chrome,so does it make sense that the black on the grill is fine and the chrome is damaged by the product?

I towed my car to Haval Randfontein on Thursday the 9th of April cause it was stuck on park mode and wouldn't switch into gear,we were told the car would be checked on that day to see what's wrong but till today the 13th of April the vehicle has not been touched. When asked they telling they can't move the car and don't know what to do. My question is so when you fail with the car ,you just keep it there until what ,a miracle happens !

My HAVAL H2 has a leak in at 2 ends of the back seats. It has been going to HAVAL Midrand for this since last year were it would spend about 2/3 days and still hasn’t been fixed. I have also been asking for them to install my tyre sensor since last year as I can’t see any of my tyre pressures and this hasn’t been fixed either. And now my car is out of service plan. I also have to consistently call to ask about the sensors, if I don’t call no one does. Further , I’ll get reception and they’ll say they ask the service person to call me but I have to be the one to call again. The water is leaking into the the boot and where the spare wheel is and it leads to the car smelling . Till this day all these issues haven’t been resolved

Matter of urgency. Haval and its dealerships must be held accountable for selling vehicles with what appears to be a serious safety risk. The same thing happened to me like other reviews While I was travelling back from Mpumalanga, my roof suddenly exploded. This is not a small inconvenience — it is a major safety issue that could cost lives. What makes this even worse is that before I bought my Haval, I explicitly raised my concern about parts availability because I wanted to mitigate my risk. I was assured by the dealership not to worry, as Haval now had a warehouse and parts would be available. Today, however, I am being told there is a three-month back order, and I am now stranded without a car. No one wants to take responsibility. This is unacceptable. Haval, what is going on? Your customers deserve answers, accountability, and urgent action. If this issue is known, it must be addressed transparently before someone is seriously injured. Hzval People need to know what they are buying into. At this stage, I would caution others to think very carefully before purchasing this brand until Haval is prepared to take proper responsibility and protect its customers.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Haval Upington Service Centre. The service was completely unprofessional and a total waste of my time. I drove over 300 km to the dealership for assistance, only to arrive and find that nothing was properly arranged or handled. The staff were disorganized, unhelpful, and showed absolutely no respect for a customer who had travelled such a long distance. There was no clear communication, no accountability, and no effort made to resolve the situation. Instead, I was left feeling like my time and fuel costs meant nothing to them. A professional service centre should value their customers and communicate properly, especially when people travel long distances. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would not recommend Haval Upington Service Centre to anyone. Extremely disappointing experience.
