THEY SWOPED MY BATTERY, JACK AND PETROL CAP. THE REAR SPRINGS WE NOT POSITIONED RIGHT WHEN I FETC THE CAR.
Good day I have a problem here, on Wednesday 2026/04/01, I took my car for service at vw northcliff,upon fetching the car from vw northcliff, I notice ld there was a sound coming from behind, I stopped on the side of the road to check, I found the back spring was out of its place, I tried calling vw northcliff unfortunately it was closed, but I spoke to Leno the person that was servicing my car, he apologized for the, I took money from my pocket to fix the fault vw northcliff they have done. The following day I noticed that they changed my jack, patrol Led and my battery and the Ecu brakcket are broken. I contated Leno and told him about this problem he denied everything. On Tuesday 2026/04/07 I went to vw northcliff to speak to the manager for service, he was rude he couldn't help me.

New parts being replaced by old parts when the car taken for service
Very sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭, I took my Brand New polo Vivo 2024, with reg no: ****MZGP for 30 000,second service, it came back with loose fan and dented Radiator and overheating, Am very sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭

A great experience and excellent customer service
Excellent customer service and constant updates from Daaniyaal Fredericks, the service executive looking after me and my car. I appreciated the video of the underside of my car and the confirmation that everything was still in good order. After service communication also excellent. Thank you, Daaniyaal

Excellent customer service and constant updates from Daaniyaal Fredericks, the service executive looking after me and my car. The technicians at VW Northcliff swapped brake pads and expected us to pay for the replacement!!!!!!!
The technicians at VW Northcliff swapped brake pads and expected us to pay for the replacement!!!!!!! Took the car to VW Northcliff on the 6th of March 2024 because car had vibrations when driving between 80-100 km/h. Sfiso their technician is the one that was responsible for checking the issue. Upon collection he advised that he took out the front right tyre and the only issue is that the rim of the front right wheel had some bumps so the rim was not smoothly round and caused the wheel to have a bubble and hence the vibrations when driving at a high speed and advised that the rim needs to be replaced. When driving back home, started to hear a weird sound when applying brakes especially on a downhill. Thought the sound will stop but it kept on getting worse and on Friday morning, 8th of March 2024, took the car back to VW Northcliff to let them know about the issue of the sound when braking as it was not there prior to taking the car to them. Sfiso heard the sound the car was making, upon checking he advised that the brakes of the car are worn out and they need to be replaced. Asked him how was that possible as the brakes were fine and they were not making a sound before we brought the car to them and he said that the brakes wear and tear which we understood but wanted to know why all of a sudden after they checked the car on Wednesday. Him and his manager advised that they will replace the brake pads for R3000 and advised that’s not possible as we never had the problem before we took the car to them. Went to a different place and replaced the brake pads and found that the front left tyre brake pads were COMPLETELY WORN OUT whereas the ones on the right front tire were fine and can still go on for a couple of more kms. Basically they conned us to buying brake pads from them by taking swapping out brake pads with worn out ones just because we are ladies thinking we do not know anything about cars.

VW Northcliff - Best Service
I have taken in my VW T-Cross recently to VW Northcliff for a service and was assisted by Daaniyaal Fredericks the service advisor, absolutely brilliant customer service from Daaniyaal who checked every detail and kept me in the loop, Daniyaal has excellent knowledge and understanding of the issue and resolution of the issue that I had on my car, thank you for going the extra mile Daniyaal and I hope this message gets to VW to celebrate best service given to a customer, Thank you, Best Regards.

Outstanding service
I have had trouble with the fuel lines of my car for the past year. Every couple of days a leak developed requiring repairs. Hatfield VW Northcliff helped me every time. I could just call Lyle and drop in for a while-you-wait repair. As my VW is 20 years old it was very difficult to get the parts, but Hatfield made every effort to help and successfully fixed the problem. Truly excellent service. Thank you.

Outstanding service

Great customer experience, as a first time buyer they took me through the whole process. I would like to thank Sandile Myeni and Yoli. Even the after service is excellent. I would recommend VW Northcliff, I give them 10 out of 10. I'm a happy customer and Im enjoying my new ride, thanks to the Northcliff team.
