Want shop to rent

I was asked my some of my clients who currently rent shop space at Ballito Junction to find other shop space to rent , the attitude and the reluctance to assist in this was mind boggling , i felt like a second rate citizen , with so many shops closing and are empty you would grateful for someone to rent a shop space , when i tell them its for Gadgets not cell phones they say that is over subscribed , probably if it was another clothing store or another food store it would be fine but for this idea of gadgets you feel like there is xenophobic attitude from Growth point malls because the misconception that people who do this are foreigners.
