Been with Goodwood Armed patrols for the past 10 years but getting more unhappy with their services. My motor/resistor had to be replaced...waited 2 weeks. They received an unknown signal from my premises the next day, I was informed the technical guy will contact me. 2 days later still waiting. On enquiry, the lafy told me the technical pple left already and will contact me on Monday. I asked to speak to the manager, she informed me he will give me a call. Ine day later....still waiting. Im leaving on holiday tomorrow with a faulty alarm and very unhappy with their service. They received full payment already.

Goodwood Armed Patrols They say in their post that batteries should be replace once a year however I have replaced 3 batteries in the last year. I told them it's not my battery but the *********** ladies in technical dept insist that it is. So i change it every time to proof a point. Finally after jumerous attempts they send out the technicians and by the 3rd time thy came out my problem still remains... now they ignoring my plea and my system is still a problem... The last 3 months struggling with the technicians puts a bitter taste in my mouth. 4 years a loyal customer, never 1 payment late. 1st problem in this 4 yrs that I am with u guys and u can't sort out my beeping sound. Imagine u need to sleep and u hear a contant beep all the time. It's not in ur house... why should u worry!!! It's not ur sleep that's being disturb... why should u worry!!! It's not going to interfere with u having to work with a tired body the next day... Y should u worry!!! Yes that's the attitude I get. Your technicians was suppose to come out to me but I'm still waiting. No communication to say you running late or you won't be able to keep to ur appointment. So here is my last communication with GAP- Goodwood armed patrols. Come and remove ur radio transmitter because I'm done with GAP. And 5 minutes later from commenting on their page they block me and remove my comment. Sure fabulous service from this company. Peeps look out for this type. Thy only use u for your money.

When I called Andries he doesn't take my calls neither does the owner reply to emails.WORST SERVICE EVER 🤬

During October/November 2021, Goodwood Armed Patrols (GAP) serviced our existing alarm system and upgraded it to include the Falcon response application. This application provides for the execution of commands to the alarm system and notification of events linked to the alarm being triggered. Ever since the installation, I have had continuous problems with the system that remain unresolved to date. This is a security mechanism which is of utmost important to secure my property. This is even more vital as I no longer reside there and the property is in process of being sold. The new owners are now going to take-on a security system that is not working properly and is not effective in securing their safety whereas the property was sold with this promise. This despite me actively trying to resolve this with GAP but to no avail. It is simply unacceptable! 1. The issue with the alarm is that it triggers despite me having disarmed it. This happens on numerous occasions. GAP has tried to resolve the issue and engaged the vendor, but nothing has corrected the problem. They blame the vendor but I did not contract with the vendor. GAP must sort it out. 2. It has always been hard to get hold of someone at GAP to respond to my concerns. I have been dealing with Andries Ackerman and when I request for access to other management I am stonewalled. 3. Andries indicated to me at the start that it is only my property where this issue is occurring, yet I have from other sources that there is others who have also complained. 4. I am wasting my time to travel to the property every time for them to try and fix the issue generally having to wait for 2 hours while they figure out what to try next and I have done this on numerous occasions since December. 5. Andries now does not actively respond to my calls and messages. I have to follow up and I get no indication of what is happening next. 6. I have lost confidence in GAP and in a security service that I am paying a premium for but is not working properly and there is no alternative offered. I am writing this letter so that it may reach decision-makers who can fix this.

I have recently move to Goodwood, my experience with this company has not been pleasant. They have not responded to the alarm going off nor secured the premises' and waited for me to get home and accompany me in this has happened twice they do not communicate with the client. Do not feel safe with them

I was born in Goodwood, still live there and I have seen how things have changed in this town. It's starting to become dodgy in places and residents in general are becoming more negative and aggressive due to the crime in the area. Especially in lower Goodwood (bordering Parow).<br> <br> Ironically there is a security company stationed there close by a highschool (with another station at a big shopping centre close-by as well) because numerous people are signed up with them. Visibility and community involvement from this company equals to 0.<br> <br> In Glenwood and Tygerdal however, Goodwood Armed Patrols (GAP) is stationed. There it's a different story altogether. The community feels safer because not only is GAP more effective than the one stationed in lower Goodwood, but they are actively involved in the area/community as a whole.<br> <br> On top of that, I have family and neighbors who are switching over to GAP in lower Goodwood because of this good reputation that they've been building up. I am strongly leaning towards joining you guys, and hopefully soon.<br> <br> Thank you for the positive impact you guys and girls are making in the town of Goodwood. Keep up the good work and service.
