My child was placed at Glenvista high School. I called in at the school to confirm how I should make payment and a lady called Mule was rude on the phone. She asked for my daughter's details and I provided them. She told me that she won't admit my child because she is from Soweto. I told the lady that my daughter was placed by the district and she said she will not admit her. I told her that the SGB stated that only children from protea Glen wont be admitted because the principal stated that. I tried talking to her and letting her know that the district placed her there and we are within the 30km radius and she hung up on me. I need this to be addressed

Reception and staff are very rude and unhelpful Not willing to assist , and threatens that my child must attend another school, without even hearing me out for a payment plan. Things are difficult as it is, no need to be rude and unkind This is a government school and should treat all parents with dignity Very disappointed

Service we received from the two receptionists at Glenvista High was extremely disappointing. Particularly from two black women, possibly mother's even. I called yesterday regarding our application for grade 8, we were told that the documents submitted online were not certified and that we all we had to do was certify them and then deliver them to the school. Upon the arrival of my son's father at the premises this morning, he was then sent from pillar to post, with the ladies now requesting documents that we were initially not told about. They asked for my proof of residence, which we provided by form of confirmation of my medical aid which they then questioned, saying it was cooked. They called my employer, asking if I work for them which has nothing to do with this, then asked for my proof of residence which was confirmed by my employer but further questioned by them still implying that my friend was the one they'd been with on the phone. I called the school afterwards looking for some kind of resolution only to be put and left on hold. What's left us frustrated and with a bitter taste in our mouth is the run around, time wasting and the snotty attitude displayed and comments made by both ladies, offering no solution that could help with the situation or telling us once off that they don't want our son admitted at the school.
