No Certificate and give run-around!!!
They do not issue certificates. They give you the run-around. They lie that they called you when they did not. Take you from pillar to post for you at get any assistance. Option 3 of their landline never gets answered. You'd think it would be reputable because it's UCT, well, it's not. Just another ****! Also, their course content is mediocre. I specifically joined this programme for a certificate which they now say they don't issue!

They do not issue certificates. They give you the run-around. They lie that they called you when they did not. Take you from pillar to post for you at get any assistance. Option 3 of their landline never gets answered. You'd think it would be reputable because it's UCT, well, it's not. Just another ****! Also, their course content is mediocre. I specifically joined this programme for a certificate which they now say they don't issue!

Avoid Getsmarter/UCT alliance online studies.
Pathetic service. They do not issue certification for course completion. The online portal where you can apparently only view your certificate does not work. And when one asks for an order form to order a hardcopy,their response is zero. Do not make use of this insituition.

They don't issue certificates for completed courses
They don't issue certificates for their course! So disappointing because people pay money that they don't even have sometimes to do the courses and they can't even issue certificates so that you can use it to apply for work.

They don't issue certificates for their course! So disappointing because people pay money that they don't even have sometimes to do the courses and they can't even issue certificates so that you can use it to apply for work.

UCT+GetSmarter = DOG **** !
What an absolute LOAD OF TOSS ! This is prime of how the highets of standards took a nose dive into DOG ****. Completed commercial & contract law course. 1. Supposed "head tutor" didn't even feature once throughout the course. For all I know it's just a ChatBot with a profile photo: 2. Head tutor " who claims to have an LLM and specialising in property Law" Had to verify from course "faculty" if a Land Purchase Agreement in SA required a "Erf" number. IT'S COMMON FREAKEN SENSE. 3. Certificates: what a load of cheap-ass ****. It looks like toilet paper on a screen with some blurry UCT logo. Certificate also states "can ONLY, be viewed online "HUH????" YOU CAN'T download it AT ALL. It's also signed by "interim registrar" - *** is an "interim" registrar ? 4. Certificates states: Person has completed course in estimated 63 HOURS. This was a 9 week course, how the HELL do they know how much time I've spent? It's a cheap way to make sure that the certificate has NO merit and that no potential employer will take you seriously. I AM ASHAMED OF UINVERSITY OF CAPE TOWN TO EVEN BE AFFILIATED WITH THIS ****. SHAME ON UCT AND GETSMARTER. They are both now just corprates out for making the bucks.

Certificate issuing
I am still awaiting my certificate. I did compliance Management in Octoner 2024. I cannot use their digital certificate anywhere. Don't register here because you will suffer after completing their courses. I NEED MY VERIFICAYE PLEASE

Project Management Short course
I am writing regarding the Project Management course I completed in 2021. Although I’ve been informed that the certificate was issued, I can confirm that I did not receive it — neither via email nor by post. I’ve submitted the requested affidavit confirming I did not receive my Project Management course certificate from 2021. However, I’ve been informed that the document is “incorrect.”

I spent more than R15 000 on a commercial and contract and law short course, only to find out that no certificate is issued. I am told of digital certificate which i can not even access. Please do not waste your money on that nonsense.
