The staff are so rude and helpless all they're focusing on is for their students at medunsa to learn with our bodies yet we aren't given medication even for pain Been here for more 48 hours and all the doctors just come and ask questions without any help...all they're doing is giving each other routine sessions on our expense and forgetting to actually help us...this is crazy patient are sleeping on the floor and I have been sleeping on the chair for 2 nights and m still in casualty The disrespect is on another level as if they're doing us a favour whereas they're here to work, get paid an they took an oath The only person doing their job is the cleanr

I was at George Mukhari from the morning of 30 March, until the afternoon of 31 March 2026. A procedure was done on my in theatre on the 30th, and i am thankful for the doctor who practically saved my life, she was friendly and will be forever greatfull for her. But the day nurse in Ward 10 Sister Mpho, was really nasty to me, the right word for her performance, would be rassism. I was the only white lady in the ward and all the other sisters were so sweet, but sister Mpho even left me without dinner the night of the 30th, i must have been asleep when the food came, but nobody woke me and when i asked the night staff at about 8pm for food, they confirm that there is no food in the kitchen, they did however provide me with milk and bread and i am greatfull for that. I would rather die than to go back to this facility, just out of scaredness to be faced with Sister Mpho again. I get along with any people and i definitely don't think i am better than anybody, that is why i was so heart by Sister Mpho.

I am deeply grateful to the team of doctors who performed my surgery with such skill, care, and dedication Dr Swart,Dr Naude and Dr Koto from breast clinic. From the very first consultation, they took the time to explain every detail clearly, easing my worries and making me feel confident in their hands. Their professionalism was matched by genuine compassion, which made a difficult experience far more manageable. On the day of the surgery, their calm reassurance and meticulous attention to detail gave me peace of mind. The procedure was a success, and my recovery has been smooth thanks to their expertise and thoughtful follow-up care. It is rare to find medical professionals who combine technical excellence with such kindness and humanity. I truly feel that my health and well-being were their top priority, and I will always be thankful for the life-changing impact they’ve had.#breast reduction🙌🏻🙌🏻

The worst health care facilities I have ever head off. Tell me how does it make sense for an elderly person to wait from 7 am till 17:15 for medication just to tell her that the medication is finished after waiting for the whole day with duty toilets that doesn’t even have toilet paper. Worse they told her not to miss this date made her pay a R200 Service fee where she didn’t even get the medication. This hospital must just be closed at this point it’s useless

On the 25th of July 2025, i was collecting medication and there were discrepancies that I witnessed. A Mr Mudau who assists with collecting files to take to the pharmacy, I heard and saw Mr Mudau collecting a file of a patient that did not wait like everyone else neither had any visible challenges or accompanying anyone on the stretcher and/or wheelchair or atleast have a file that has a sticky note of SP. Mr Mudau took the file upon their agreement with the said patient. I waited to see where it will lead to. When 10 files were called on the window, the said file was put in first. I called out Mr Mudau and asked him to remove the file and do his work professionally. I spoke to him with respect and he acted nonchalant and dismissed my complaint. I felt disrespected and not heard. I would not have reported this matter if he had acknowledged his wrongdoing. 15 minutes later, he collected funds from the patient and proceeded with his job.

Today the 08/04/2024 was the worst day of my life. My Aunt passed on right infront of me due to the negligence of the hospital professionals. She’s was transferred from Jubilee Hospital to George Mukhari Hospital for an operation but when we got there it was a different scenario. My aunt was in a critical condition on where jubilee had to transfer her to George Mukhari. She had to be on the oxygen cylinders at all times but she wasn’t. The Doctor at George Mukhari discharged her back to Jubilee she stated it was due to incorrect bloods taken and more. Her oxygen cylinder was off due to that it was empty. I had to run around as porter with the Jubilee nurses seeking a new oxygen cylinder. We were taken from pillar to post, emergency rooms closed no one willing to assist until we got to the causality center where we got one but it was already late. My question was why wasn’t she admitted as she was in a critical stage. The EMS was not available as well they dropped her and left. My aunt kept on saying that she can’t breathe but all we had to do was to wait for the EMS . Please kindly intervene this matter @Fhatuwani Godfrey Mbara and @Dr Olebogeng Modise. I’ve lost my guardian due to this

The pharmacy staff was rude to me after requesting for assistance in conducting the line to avoid conflict with other patients but I was called a serial complaint just because it was my third complain about pharmacy staff(Angie and her manger).I don't understand how exercising my rights is wrong this upset me to a point of having an epileptic seizure in the hospital and yet I was said to be dramatic, said by a complains office administrator Mapula. I advise that Neurology gets its own pharmacy cause controlling emotions when triggered is not easy.
