They always charge me extra mileage yet I use same routes. At some point the double deducted a charge for extra mileage and I had to prove to them. They change payment dates without verifying if that will work for me. Yet I pay extra if I can’t make payments on the agreed payment dates. Now they claim to have sent an invoice for extra million yet the only communication I received from was the increase on subscription fee.

I have had a bad experience with Future Rent. They have rented a vehicle to me that was in a previous accident and i was not aware of it until my driver door nearly fell off. It was standing for nearly 2 months because of insurance hold up and parts thar was on a back order for something that was not my fault but Future Rents fault. They even paid half of my excess because they acknowledge it was there fault renting it to me. I use my car for a income and for nearly 2 months i couldn't see any of my clients. They still insisted every month that i much pay my vehicle standing at a panel shop. At the end of the day Robyn at Future Rent just cancelled my contract i loose my deposit on my vehicle and 8 months installments and the half of the excess i paid the Panel shop to repair there fault. They drive from Cape Town to Worcester and charge me R10000 to come and fetch my vehicle after it was repaired at last, You sign a Rent to Own contract but people much remember they change it as they wish. If they decided they change your contract they just change it by sending you a WhatsApp and you never receive a copy of your signed contract. today i can cry for loosing nearly R70000 by Rent to own a vehicle at Future Rent. I know people are eager to get a vehicle you pay high deposits and installments but you can loose all that money. I really had a bad experience with Future Rent Century City and will not recommended anyone to Rent a vehicle from .

They rent out damage cars that you are not aware of vehicles that is in previous accidents and if it is standing more than a month they just cancel your contract and you loose all your money. I use my vehicle to get a income how much you work or pay your vehicle if something like this happens. They just cancel your contract and sent a invoice for a month rent of your contract. You cant rather save money buy a vehicle cash before you deal with companies like this Future Rent they are just going to rip you off I have lost a lot of money and i dont want it to happen to other people seeking for a vehicle you much pay high deposits that you are going to loose.

Wesley is claiming ignorance He doesn’t want to send me the documents I signed at Blackstone which apparently was an offer to purchase and the inv. Taking into acc that Blackstone apparently had nothing to do with supplying me with a car I assume it’s a *****ulent doc that Blackstone made me sign? I didn’t receive anything or have any link to Blackstone and even though I paid them the deposit the money belongs to Blackstone because I received the car from FutureRent…………… Hilda If you are confused at this point I assure you that so am I So at best I am attempting to link the chain of events together. I can guarantee that Luke and Wesley will disagree though MAY 2024 – • I SEE ADD FOR RENT TO OWN • I CONTACT THE NUMBER PROVIDED • WESLEY MAKES CONTACT – I EXPLAINED THAT I WANT A RELIABLE CAR BECAUSE I AM MOVING TO JHB • PROCESS BEGINS JUNE 2024 • WESLEY INFORMS ME HE FOUND A VEHICLE • THE DEPOSIT IS TOO MUCH BUT I MAKE A DOWN PAYMENT OF R3000.00 JULY – AUGUST • WESLEY WAITS FOR ME TO COME UP WITH THE BALANCE OF DEPOSIT AND INFORMS ME THAT HE WILL ONLY START LOOKING WHEN I HAVE THE MONEY SEPTEMBER • I MAKE A WITHDRAWEL FROM TWO – POT AND INFORM WESLEY TO GO ADHEAD OCTOBER • I COLLECT THE CAR FROM BLACKSTONE CPT AND DRIVE IT TO ELS JANUARY • I MAKE THE MOVE TO JHB AND 1 WEEK LATER THE CAR IS BROKEN • I CONTACT WESLEY AND HE SAYS THAT HE CANNOT DO ANYTHINGTELLS ME ABOUT FUTURERENT JANUARY • ROBYN PERENZEE FROM FUTURERENT CONTACTS ME ABOUT THE REPAIRS AND ASKS ME WHERE THE CAR IS. • I INFORM HER ITS AT A MECHANIC THAT IT WAS PICKED UP FROM ME AT WORK AND SHE ASKS FOR MY ADDRESS WHICH I PROVIDE. JANUARY – • ROBYN PERENZEE FROM FUTURERENT TELLS ME I AM IN BREACH OF CONTRACT AND THE CAR WILL BE CONFISCATED – • THROUGHOUT THIS I AM ASKIG WESLEY AT BLACKSTONE WHATS GOING ON AND HE SAYS THERES NOTHING HE CAN DO Consequently: I lose the car My deposit Almost my job because I had to start making use of public transport and started arriving late as a result. This morning Wesley said he did nothing wrong, and I is wanted I must contact MIOSA. Am I to understand that : • The offer to purchase was supposed to come from Futurerent because the car belonged to Futurerent? • Why did I pay a deposit to Blackstone if FutureRent merely had me pick up the car at there premises? • What happened to the deposit I paid because apparently (as per Wesley) the deposit amount was deducted from the vehicle price? Why did Blackstone then keep the deposit and not hand it to FutureRent? • Wesley also refuses to advise why he did not inform FutureRent of my move. (Continuously telling me “You must take it up with them. I can’t help”)

It is really a bad place to rent or rent to own a vehicle. I don't advise people to rent a vehicle from Future Rent. They are very eager to rent a vehicle or rent to own it but once you left the building you are totally on your own. There is no costumer service they don't come back to you. I have ask them about my vehicles license for a month now i even spoke to the Fleet Manager who said he will come back to me but he also disappeared. There is a problems on my car they just don't come back to you solving it. Shane told me if i rent to own the vehicle i can license the vehicle where i stay in that town and that it will cost me R650 extra to license it. That is why i bought the vehicle in the first place i can license the car where i stay. I even drove to them just to hear another promise. I am at this point of loosing my money and return there vehicle. Shane Uren help me but he might think i am a idiot but really if this is the way they do business or there managers they must rather close this place down. I am really disappointed in Future Rent.
