Fiverr will not stand behind damage caused by suppliers on their platform.
A freelancer *******ed my business accounting records, leaving duplicate transactions that are blocking my tax submissions. The repair has been quoted at $900. The original order was a fraction of that. Fiverr released payment and closed the order without my approval. Support escalated through five agents over multiple days. Their resolution: a 5% promo code. The freelancer was flagged — but remains active on the platform. If you are using Fiverr for anything that touches your finances or business systems, understand that their liability ends at the original order refund.
