**** artists still working in the fireplace industry! BEWARE!!!
I was ****med out of R21,000 by Jim Rossouw and Janine Mahabeer(who now works for FireFrog) 3 yrs ago. They have to this day not given me my R21,000 deposit i paid at their business Fireplace&Chimney&Co. How on earth they are still working in the Fireplace industry is totally unbelivable. They are still evading the law. Justice wil be served on them one day!! Beware of these two **** artists!!!

Every negative review is true
1 star is being generous. It's been over 2 years since this company stole my deposit and never delivered. I have tried every single avenue to try recover my funds, with no luck. Every negative review is true. They have closed their showroom and office in Fish Hoek, because customers were rocking up demanding their money back. They now operate online only.

Please Be Aware of this company. Once you pay a deposit you will never hear from them again. Their telephone numbers do not exist, the company does not exist. It is a ****. Do not pay these people any money!!

Do not do business with Djamile Roussouw and Fireplace and Chimney Co. They are not legitimate and will take your money and run. We've pursued legal action as well as filed a case with the police. Beware this man. (Hellopeter will not allow the correct language to be used)

Do not do business with Djamile Roussouw and Fireplace and Chimney Co. They are not legitimate and will take your money and run. We've pursued legal action as well as filed a case with the police. Beware this man. (Hellopeter will not allow the correct language to be used)

They have ****** our money
I ordered a fireplace and paid an 80% deposit on 4 April. The lead time on the quote is 7-14 days. It has now been over 6 weeks. Every time installation is scheduled I get an excuse last minute - from missing parts, to weather to car accidents. I have spent my life savings to get a fireplace for my daughter’s health and we are now deep into winter with no fireplace.

I have spent my life savings to get a fireplace for my daughter’s health and we are now deep into winter with no fireplace.

BE WARNED: Fireplace and Chimney Co is a **** compeny
Fireplace and Chimney Co - in particular Mr Djamile (Jim) Rossouw -, has **** and ****med his way with us as well as many of the customers (read the Facebook, Hellopeter and Google reviews). His physical shop doesn't even exist anymore, and the none of their phone numbers works. Following weeks of trying to get the installation and constant excuses for delays, we will be placing ******** and civil charges against him personally as well as the company. Silly mistake for us not to check Hellopeter first.
