11 May 2026, 08:23After waiting on hold for I'm unsure how long, I was given a fictitious email address to address this issue. I have still not received my refund for an HP Laptop purchased on 20 April 2026. I was informed four days later—only after following up myself—that the item was out of stock. I was subsequently pressured into accepting an inferior substitute under the guise of a "favour." When we were forced to collect the unit ourselves, the hardware was defective: the battery failed to hold a charge, the unit overheated, and performance was beyond substandard. The unit was collected for return on 29 April. Despite my repeated follow-ups regarding my refund, your team only requested banking details on 8 May. As of today, 11 May, I have neither the laptop nor my funds. My experience with Evetech has been defined by a total failure to meet delivery timelines, professional negligence, and a breach of consumer rights. This is ***********, ********* and *******. I’m done asking nicely. This is my final notice. I am now escalating this to not only the NCC but will inform all and sundry what a bunch of con artists this organisation actually is.
