I ordered from Corrie at Elco by Email, off the monthly pricelist they send me. This was the first time I purchased from Elco. Thier prices are very competitive, I placed my order in the afternoon and as promised my goods arrived by lunchtime the next day. (From Springs to Jo'Burg, delivery fee was R50) I paid for my goods on delivery using my bank card on the machine carried by the truck driver. The driver and his helper carried a ton of steel (maybe not quite a ton) 50m down my driveway and placed it where I asked, I thought Elco were excellent all the way from placing my order right through to delivering the goods right into my workshop. Top-notch service and staff, very convenient.

Dear Public and fellow Farmers PLEASE DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID BUYING STEEL FROM ELCO STEEL. I ordered custom 12m lip-channel of various sizes and IBR roof sheets of 12m lengths for a store that I needed for crops in the new year so I placed the order and paid the deposit on 27/09/2017. Time passed and and lots of excuses later Elco steel informed me the steel is ready for delivery and I need now to pay the full amount. And so I did on 24/03/2018 Elco Steel delivered yesterday 24/04/2018. Almost 7 months later. IRestMyCase. Johan Greyling Farm Dwarsfontein ********** 689

Good Day this company states "Free deliveries within a (70km radius) for orders exceeding R800" take note that this is not the case as they do not work on Google maps or Google Radius Around a Point on a Map, they have their own calculations to determine this according to Corrie from Elco steel. and do not even waste your time to try and ask Giovanni one of the managers to get back to you to explain how they calculate the Km's he is always to busy to get back to you maybe to busy with all the "Government Projects" to care about normal "homeowners".Have to saythe steel might be cheaper that other company's but but make up the difference on traveling via Cape Town.
