I am so much worse after my operation. I had an issue with my PIP joint and the doctor decided I also needed a trigger finger release. I now have NO movement in my PIP and am in constant pain. The tip of my finger has movement but I have lost ALL other function. After my operation the Dr said very "by the way" I need to come back in 3 months. I will NOT be going back. I am in CONSTANT pain. Not once did he recommend physio or any other form of recovery. Dr Ikram is cold and has no emotional connection. His bedside manner is non existent. The ONLY time I felt care was when he assist to wheel me back to my room. Which, in and of itself, is rather kind. However he was short with any questions and I am in more pain now than I was before the operation. I was already scared of any operation. Now I have to go through another one - a PIPC replacement. Absolutely no acceptance that he messed up. Please please please make sure you are comfortable with a surgeon before you let them cut. My pinky is scarred and I cannot do as much as hold a pen.
