DG store - (aka DISGRACEFULL STORE)

This is a disgrace of an operation/store. Communication is non existant. I regretfully placed an order for a laptop on asus.com and without my knowing this DG store is fulfilling it. After 5 days, I'm trying to follow up on my order and I can't get hold of anyone. I have phoned, sent Whatsapp messages, tried the live chat (which never goes through to an agant) and to no avail. I still don't know where my money or my laptop is. Save yourself a lot of anger and frustration and DON'T use this mess-up of a company to do business with!!!

Never order with ASUS DG

I ordered a laptop order 5000012827 thinking I was ordering straight from ASUS,owh what a pain to deal with thier lies.No customer service ,no accountability at all.This business needs to be reported and closed looking at the reviews of other people who had the same issue.

Selling false products under ASUS and poor customer service.

First you make people buy your products under the impression they are buying directly from ASUS, on to find you are a independent retailer. You than go further to selling products you dnt have in stock, after taking my money I thank have to call you for follow ups because I’m not getting my laptop. I ask for a refund you than send me a false email with a tracking number to track my parcel. I called you after a couple of days because I was struggling to track the parcel only to find out there was no such parcel send to me and you claimed it was a error. You have ever promised to refund me but till today there’s no money in my account. Are you guys ****mers, and I also think ASUS should be held accountable for allowing you guys to **** us like this. The laptop in still on the website people are buy buy you know very well u dnt have the laptop. I spoke to the supervisor but her service is also poor. ****mers

Student Left Without Laptop Before Exams – Extremely Disappointed

I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Digital Generation. I placed an order for a laptop on 12 February 2026 for a student who urgently needs it for exams. At the time of purchase, the website clearly indicated 2–3 working days delivery. On the third day, when the order status still showed “Picking”, I called to follow up — only to be informed that there was no stock available. I was told new stock would arrive within two days and that my order would be fulfilled then. After waiting the additional two days with no update or delivery, I called again. This time I was told I would need to wait until the end of February because stock had been allocated to other customers. I called again today, 2 March 2026, and was once again told there is still no stock available. At this point, nearly three weeks later, I requested a refund because the laptop is urgently needed for a student writing exams this Thursday. I was told I must email my refund request and that it would be responded to “instantly” due to the urgency. It has now been six hours without even an acknowledgement of my email — and no apology for the inconvenience caused. This experience has been extremely disappointing: • Misleading delivery timelines • Selling stock that was not available • Repeated broken promises • No proactive communication • No urgency despite the situation I now urgently require my refund to be processed immediately so that I can purchase a laptop elsewhere in time for the student’s exams. I hope Digital Generation treats this matter with the seriousness it deserves and resolves it without further delay.

Misjudged Dg store x Asus

Order an asus laptop Tuesday, saw the online reviews(Bad reviews) about the company and their services and i panicked i wanted to cancel the order, Called the DG stores the next morning which was Wednesday to cancel the order they answered same time no cut offs or unanswered calls and their communication with me was excellent and Straight to the point which led to me to continue with the order, even though i was still unsure because i didn't receive my order number yet until they told me they will send the order number Wednesday or Thursday morning and they did sent it Thursday morning and it also came with my tracker number they assured me that my laptop will be delivered friday only to find out that, the same day they sent the tracking number it was exactly the same day my laptop got delivered even though it was scheduled to be delivered on Friday but it came on Thursday. THIS WHOLE process took 3 days and it was quick and fast as i needed the laptop asap because im a university student and they understood the mission. Thank you DG store x Asus

Cancelling my order (Refund)

Yesterday i purchased an asus laptop online and after seeing the reviews online i am deciding to cancel my order Dg Store x Asus i need my money back as soon as possible cause i need it to purchase school supplies, i wrote an email cancelling my order and attached the proof of payment today morning so can we resolve this as soon as possible

I am giving one star, solely because my first order with DGStores was completed successfully—although even then, communication was lacking. On 20 January 2026, I ordered and paid for two refurbished laptops from DGStores. After receiving only an invoice and no further communication, I followed up two weeks later regarding delivery. Once I eventually managed to speak to a call centre agent, I was informed that the items were out of stock and that new stock was expected within a few days. After another week passed with no communication, I followed up again and was given the same response. I then requested either alternative options or a refund, and the agent advised that she would investigate and get back to me. I am still waiting. It is now more than a month later, and I have received no communication whatsoever from DGStores. I have made several calls—on 22 February 2026, I waited over 27 minutes in the call centre queue before having to abandon the call. I have also sent emails and submitted multiple “contact me” requests via their website, all without response. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and follow-up. Poor communication appears to be a major shortcoming for this company.

Terrible Service

I paid R21,000 for a laptop via the ASUS South Africa online store (fulfilled by Digital Generation) and requested a refund before receiving the product as I needed the product urgently for work and from their reviews on other sites some customers have waited over 2 weeks for their product to arrive. The process for this refund has been unnecessarily difficult. I am now on day 3 just to approve the refund never mind make the actual transaction, after repeated requests for additional bank information (why not just reverse ?). Communication has been slow and stressful (I have had to phone twice a day just to be told that “they will follow up”) , and the experience has completely eroded my trust in this sales channel. I expected professional after-sales support for a purchase of this size and did not receive it. I will never purchase any product from an online store that uses Digital Generation again, including Asus South Africa.
