I’ve been having back to back calls with the UIF Department regarding my registration, so I can claim my benefits from my past employment.
To my surprise, very distasteful, hostile approach towards me and calls hung up on me, when all I asked was for assistance to unlock my registration since it locked instantly after i entered the temporary password I was provided, which also happened prior to me registering, whereby my account got locked constantly. But that time before registering I had a friendly lady to help me.
After registering I called again on March 13, but was met with hostility from a lady called Nthabeleng who didn’t care for what I was saying, after a short while she hung the phone on me. I emailed all the UIF Departments (including complaints), nobody has cared to respond, even now. And this is something that affects me.
