WARNING!!!!!! please do not use thus agency, this is the worst agency to deal with. there is no support once you have been accepted and arrive in the USA. they dont follow up or check up on you once you arrive to your host family -- YOU ARE ALL ON YOU OWN. During the placement, my daughter was treated more like household help than a family member. She worked unpaid hours, faced an inaccurate schedule, and dealt with boundary issues and disrespect from the host child, for which she was unfairly blamed. Despite following proper procedures and seeking help, she was unsupported, and her Local Childcare Coordinator (LCC) shared her private communication and concerns with the host family. The family’s perspective was prioritized, leaving my daughter feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and mentally distressed - I can't emphasize this enough!!! my child was mental drained and exhausted. Eventually, she had to leave the placement and pay for her own flight home - she had to request for financial help from family and friends . The experience was deeply disappointing and contrary to the fair and supportive spirit of a cultural exchange program. THEY CANNOT BE TRUST AT ALL.

Terrible customer service. They don't answer their main number, their support number doesn't even ring and they don't answer their emails. This does not give a good impression of a business at all. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Firstly cultural care is not professional, their attitude stinks. They do not know their job. They dodge questions and do not answer phone nor reply to emails. Courtney and Megan are au pair representatives yet They get angry when having to answer questions. Plane tickets are booked without you knowing and demeanor changes drastically especially after making payment. They treat you worse than children and you are always in the wrong. I personally was abused by the family I matched with and forced to return to SA yet cultural care will always make it your fault. They said the abuse is correct and I am at fault. They have no respect or care towards us South Africans. This is a **** company. Cultural care only deletes their bad reviews on their social media. If this all doesn't scream ****, then I don't know what does. Dear future Au Pairs, please save yourself from this company.

DISSAPPOINTED AND ANGRY. My daughter signed up with Cultural Care to be an Au Pair in the USA. She matched with the family and all the necessary fees were paid IN FULL and documents completed. The visa application was also paid IN FULL UPFRONT as per requirement. Unfortunately the embassy DENIED her visa and the VISA application fee was forfeited. CC refused to allow her another chance to re-apply for her visa even though her host family were waiting for her. CC are very unfair as other AU PAIR agencies allow you up to 5 tries to apply for your visa because the embassy can deny you entry for no actual reason as per our experience. DO NOT enroll with Cultural Care or if you do, make sure you opt for the insurance so you can get back your agency fee.

Honestly, if there was a zero star for it I would give it that rating. I have personally had an experience with them. I would not refer anyone to their agency. They give a supportive impression but when your things do not go accordingly, their energy towards you changes. They do not answer calls efficiently and you are to blame for the outcome of the result. They put a lot of pressure on you when it comes to getting things done, things seem rushed. They lack empathy to an extent in handling someone who is not okay or not managing well with stress. Some of their staff speak to you in a condescending tone and make you feel stupid for asking questions multiple times.Be prepared to spend money. be careful .If you can find another agency please do.

I was helped every step of the way by consultant Ms Teneal from day one to the day my profile got approved and after that she was still willing and ready to assist me, not to forget she is extremely motivational and kind. Culture care au pair definitely has the best consultants out there.
