It's going to 2 years and they do nothing about my step kids is taken away making promise and and when you phone or cry over the kids you get Lough at that they quick to take kids with false information they got this is how us as parents must saver but I
They don't care about family or happy for them or the case

Had a terrible encounter at Kempton social welfare 6 th floor department , I arrived at 1500 hours and was told to find a day where I can come in the morning, to my suprise was not asked why I was there, upon questioning why am I not being helped ,a senior social welfare worker came with her hands in a coat and asked me where do you come from which I informed her , she spoke so rudely to me that I cannot be helped because of being a non SA citizen despite being a permanent resident

Concerned about the adoption process
I am having a bad experience with child welfare Pietermaritzburg ,I app**** for adoption the lady that was assisting me left, got transferred to the other lady by the name of Zama when ever I call she is not at the office or attending meeting. I have left my contact with them it has been 2months now I feel she is ducking me, she has left me hanging can somebody assist because this is really draining I’m staring to thing she does not know what she is doing. This is gambling with peoples life not giving feeding what am I supposed to do?

Concerned about the adoption process

Most pathetic place
Currently sitting at child welfare Athlone for 2 hours now in the waiting room. I did a application in August 2024 it is now February 2025 8 months later still heard nothing from this people. I cant even take the poor child to a hospital because i have no letter stating the child is in my care. He is sick and need medical care. What on earth is going on in this place? I am taking this matter further because this is the moat pathetic place i ever laid foot in. Are they not supposed to be of help for the kids? Are these people just sitting here for a paycheck?? I am utterly disgusted in this place God please protect these poor kids.

CAN I BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY ABOUT MY SON'S MATTER PLEASE
I expected a lot from Child services no I am not getting the help I need. I am a mother of a boy child, a minor who was forcefully taken by his father and currently not on his care because his an addict but my son leaves with Grandmother and Boyfriend in a shack..... My son's well being isn't at good state which is why I am fighting tooth and nail to get him back.... This matter has pro longed so much so that I feeling defeated The court nominated someone to assist me but on my 2nd appearance there's no social worker available to take my case and before my third appearance I got from one of the social worker she was very rude and told me straight that she doesn't work overtime so she won't proof that my story is true... SO HOW WILL THIS BE INCLUDED IF WE GET SUXH FROM THE OFFICIALS. I THEN RECEIVED A CALL FROM LETTIE 2 DAYS BEFORE MY COURT DATE SAYING THAT WILL MEET ON COURT FOR HOME VISITS WHERE NOT DONE THEN. WE MET EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND APPEARED BEFORE COURT WITH THE FATHER. THE AGREEMENT WAS THAT MY SON WILL SPEND A WEEK WITH ME AND SPEND THE NEXT WITH HIMTHEY DIDN'T OBEY THAT STILL.... HE THEN VISITED DURING DECEMBER HOLIDAYS AND MY SON LOVED BEING WITH US AND WAS PLANNING TO RETURN HOME TO ME BUT A DAY BEFORE THE SCHOOLS OPEN THEY FETCHED HIM WITHOUT MY CONCERN AGAIN and didn't even bother to communicate with me as his mother. When went to fetch him they refused for my son to see me and said he didn't want to see me anymore, they where swearing and insulting me and the grandmother wanted to beat me up too and also mentioned that she will still show me and id wish to raise my mother from the grave. Days after the scene the POLICE CAME KNOCKING AT MY HOUSE TO SERVE ME WITH 4 PROTECTION ORDERS. SO THIS IS ALSO PREVENTING ME TO SEE MY SON, THEY MAKE HIM MISS SCHOOL AT TIMES IN DECEMBER THEY FAILED TO PAY THE TRANSPORT DRIVER AND SHE CAME COMPLAINING TO ME. SO THIS MATTER SHOULD COME TO AN END AND PROPER INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE DONE IF CHILD WELFARE FAILS TO ASSIST PLEASE LET ME KNOW I AS MXOLISI MOTHER WHO RAISED HIM ALONE AFTER LEAVING AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP THAT NEARLY MADE ME CORPSE WILL FIGHT TO GET SON AND I'D RATHER GIVE AWAY AT A HOME RATHER THAN HAVING HIM TO BE RAISED BY THAT FAMILY... One calls your offices but there is no answer and I leave messages but I don't get called back WHY😭😭😭

i wont forgive these guys
waste of time seeking assistance from these people. I went there seeking help because the mother of my children and her family are denying me access to my kids just because I'm no longer with their mother, I have been supporting my kids from the day they were born i still do. these social workers just gave me "access" on paper and after spending a day with my son, the same social worker called and told me to back off and she told me that i should have never brought my son to visit my house and they told me that they will make sure that i wont ever see him again. till today I haven't seen or heard from my kids

Social Worker Mkhize disgusting service
I am so disgusted by the way i was treated and advised at the child welfare newlands east. The information i was given do not dispute its the tone and attitude of the Social Worker by the surname of Mkhize ( can't remember her first name ) . She did not carely explain to me the process, her fone was rude and she walked out while I was still asking questions .. I had to start shouting to get her attention and she still did not care to answer me appropriately. What was important to her is telling me how i should not allow people to leave their kids with me. And kept repeating that as if I'm mad. If her job intales her to walk away from people and be rude then she keep walking in those red high heels she was wearing . Being so rude and disrespectful to people of the community like that who pay your salary is ****ing disgusting

Useless child welfare services
A call i made this morning to the Johannesburg child welfare in Fox street 011 298 8500 made me realize that South Africans don't love the jobs that they got or do. My call got through to a very rude lady that does not introduce herself when answering the phone, and when i asked who am i talking to she still goes to say "I SAID CHILD WELFARE HELLO", so i had to inform her that her name is not child welfare and only then she gave her name to be LINDY. After explaining my story to her and how i need assistance with my brother in law's son been taken and kept by an unstable mother after 8 years of the father raising the child , i was then transferred to another unhelpful lady that answered the phone as if she has just got out of bed , she gave me her name as being YONELA YONELA could not assist me with anything , even a simple thing as telling me what her superior or team leader name is , she acted as if she went to communicate with the team leader but i could hear her typing what ever she was busy with at the time i called her, only to pick up the phone to tell me that her team leader requests for me to come to the offices and explain what assistance i need. that is when i informed her that my brother in law was at the office this morning but was still turned back with no help, this is the point were i asked to either speak or give me contacts and name for her team leader , only for her to hang up the call in my ear . I ten called the number again 4 times and all the time they would just pick up and hang up without saying a word . SOUTH AFRICA CAN DO BETTER WHEN IT COMES TO CHILD WELFARE SERVICES AS WE HAVE A LOT OF MOTHERS AND FATHERS THAT ILL TREAT OR KILL THEIR CHILDREN DUE TO SUCH POOR CHILD WELFARE SERVICES. If our country continues hiring such people to assist with making a safe future for our children , then our children really have no future as no one is looking out for our children's best interest not even the child welfare
