Hidden costs
Buffel bag claims to offer a service where the cost of purchasing their waste disposal bags includes the cost of the waste removed. What they don't tell you is that if you live in a complex which most residents do these days , the waste needs to be put on a pallet (extra fee). If you do not tell them to bring a pallet jack on collection, they charge additional call out fee to bring a pallet jack. If you put it on a pallet jack, then they also charge you an extra R200!!!! to employ an extra person to put pull the pallet jack. So if you bought a Midi bag for R351 Pallet (R105) R200 (extra person) the actual cost of waste removal if you live in a complex is R656. This is no longer as reasonable as it once seemed. If you wanted to be fair about this I suggest putting this information on your website and at the suppliers who stock your products, so that your customers are at least aware of these charges
