Braai Block - Catastrophe
I had a very disappointing experience at this branch. The quantity of meat served was noticeably less than what was selected and paid for before the braai. I ordered a combo that included two sides and three starches, but some items were missing from the order. What made the experience worse was the poor customer service. When I contacted the manager to address the issue, the response was dismissive and unprofessional. I have also noticed that this branch frequently changes employees, which raises concerns about management and consistency. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this branch based on my experiences. Customers should receive the correct portions, complete orders, and respectful service.

Poor service and terrible food from this place
I'm not pleased with the service from Braai Block in Townsquare, Roodepoort. A poorest service ever . We ordered food and we got it after an hour and a half, wrong order too and I'm allergic to cheese but it was included in my food. We had to ask for the seviett to wipe our hands.

Never Order at Braai Block Celtis Ridge
If there was a one star option I would take it. I would never order again at Braai Block Celtis Ridge in centurion. As soon as the order was delivered it was already smelling like it’s rotten. I would never order from that place ever in my life. Rather go order at the ladies that sell at the streets

Health Risk
I bought from braai block on the evening of 26 October 2025. We got a takeaway and when we got home, we discovered that the chakalaka we were given is rotten. This is so disappointing because we could have gotten ill if we ate it. It seems like they don't prioritize their customers because anyone with a nose would have picked up that it's rotten. Yet, they still sold it to us.

I bought from braai block on the evening of 26 October 2025. We got a takeaway and when we got home, we discovered that the chakalaka we were given is rotten. This is so disappointing because we could have gotten ill if we ate it. It seems like they don't prioritize their customers because anyone with a nose would have picked up that it's rotten. Yet, they still sold it to us.

Terrible customer service , flies on meat
Hi there I’d like to bring to your attention the terrible service I received from braai block celtis Tuesday evening I arrived at 19:40 , the lady at the till chatted away with a guy I found there then proceeded to ask why I came so late. When I asked if she’s saying this because meat was finished, she said no because she wants to close. I placed my order for a braai share meal which she told me to wait outside for it for about 15mins. 15 mins went by while people who came after me collected their orders and left. When I went back to ask , she said I need to wait , at this point it was already 20:10, she’s focused on uber eats. I was the only customer there so I still don’t understand why took so long to prepare my order. The meal was also incorrect, I asked for chilli wors but she served plain for wors instead. Overall I was really put off by that experience from the moment I I walked in I received the coldest “welcoming” and having to wait as long as I did when I was the only one there. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Please train your staff to speak to customers professionally and to treat the business with respect.

Braai block oakdene gave me the wrong order and they very rude

I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated with my recent experience with Braai Block and Grill Lyndhurst, what I received was a shocking display of negligence and lack of quality control. The wors was not only of poor quality, but it was also rotten. I was appalled by the state of the wors. It's unacceptable for any establishment to serve spoiled food to customers. As a paying customer, I expect a certain level of quality and service. Braai Block and Grill Lyndhurst fell woefully short of these expectations. The lack of attention to detail and care in preparing and serving food is alarming. I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and takes immediate action to address these issues. Until then, I would advise others to think twice before ordering from Braai Block and Grill Lyndhurst.

Rotten food
Bought food on Sunday for dinner …Different portions of meat, spinach and chakalaka. We didn’t sleep that night, my entire family and I suffered from diarrhoea…Tried contacting the store to alert them and no form of accountability…. I was just given a number to text of which no one responds …..
