Horrible work done by Blake Brothers
Project was supposed to be finished early December, yet Blake Brothers never completed the project. Waterproofing has a lot of defects as established by Building Engineer. Paving was never completed and the bit that they have done is a total disaster. We now need to re-do all paving from scratch which is costing us a lot of money. Blake Brothers just abandoned the site without finishing the project. Stay away from these people. Stay away is my best advice to all.

Unprofessional Service and Property Damage
Extremely disappointing experience. These painters caused damage inside my house while carrying out the work. Multiple blinds and toilet seats were broken, showing a lack of care and respect for the property. When this was brought to the owner’s attention, there was no response, no accountability taken, and no apology offered. Despite repeated attempts to address the issue, the matter was not acknowledged by the owner. The damage was eventually repaired through one of the employees, rather than through any action or responsibility taken by the owner. To date, there has been no communication or apology from the owner regarding the damage caused. Unprofessional conduct and poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting accountability and care in their home.

Blake Brothers Waterproofing and Painting - unprofessional, poor quality and rude service
Blake Brothers in Edgemead is an unprofessional, poor quality company. Owner Andrew Blake made promises that were never kept, and the result of their painting and waterproofing work is damp walls with bubbling paint, after paying tens of thousands of rands. I do not recommend using this company. I have since heard firsthand accounts of other horror stories from home owners who made the mistake of using Blake Brothers for painting, waterproofing, damp proofing and other construction work. Avoid at all cost.
