For the price, this is very good chocolate with exceptional flavors—especially the peppermint tart and Turkish Delight. It is definitely good enough to betray your siblings for! I really like it. :)

I purchased some Beacon Mallow Eggs and received a product that was significantly below acceptable quality standards. The egg was undersized, broken inside the packaging, and had an abnormal slimy/gel-like texture that made it inedible. The packaging clearly failed to protect the product, and this raises concerns about quality control and handling processes. This is not a minor defect—it’s a product integrity issue. I expect Beacon to address this and provide a refund or replacement, as this experience does not meet basic consumer expectations.

My mom of 89 went to Pick 'n Pay at Vincent Park in East London and she bought a box of what she thought were 36 marshmallow Easter eggs. Imagine her surprise when she opened the sealed box and counted them and there were only 30 in the box. Now Pick 'n Pay, the only retailer selling them for R89.99. Makes me wonder if they know that these boxes are rejects and they have an arrangement with Beacon to sell them at a lower price to their unsuspecting customers. As I said my mom is 89, she can't just climb in a car and go to the shops, she doesn't drive. This is shocking.Beacon I'm quite shocked that you even have flaws such as this in your boxes of Easter eggs. They should have been checked properly before being sealed. Where was your quality control system in this event????
