Unauthorized Debit Order
I can't believe my bank would authorize a debit order that I didn't agree to then just give me numbers to contact that are '' busy'' the whole time. What kind of F** Up thing is this? To do a reversal is going to cost me. What happened to getting authorization? Is it just Capitec or are all banks like this? I guess it's safer to keep your money under the mattress. Some of us don't have that much to start with, we don't need this bull

Kindly note that TCPS is a third party service provider that facilitates the collection of debit orders on behalf of our clients. These clients are service providers who instruct TCPS to collect premiums based on the services or products that they provide. As a result TCPS electronically processes these debit orders on the service provider’s instruction.
In order to assist you to get in touch with the company that debited your account, could you kindly provide me with your bank account number, the amount and the date of the debit in order to trace the deduction. Please send to my email address [email protected].

30 Oct 2018, 12:15I'm sorry I won't be able to. I was able to track down the company that "instructed" the Debit order. For the reason that my name is waaaaay different from the name they have but my account was still deducted it makes me unsure about giving you any of my information. Why is it that your lines are constantly busy and their lines is operated by call centre agents who seem to have no training at all...

30 Oct 2018, 12:55What number are you phoning to get hold of us. If it is Capitec that gave you the number they have given you the wrong number as the number they usually give is incorrect and that belongs a normal person not our company. Phone 0861 232 328 to get hold of TCPS (BDB).

Capitec says it's not their fault, you guys say it's not your fault and the other number you gave me to call has the worst call centre agents. Who is then meant to verify the details? This makes zero sense to me that all three companies could not see that the account holder and the person that '' took out the loan" are two different people. How someone make me understand how? And all you guys have to say is you a third party company, I give up on SA shame

30 Oct 2018, 14:04Ask Capitec to apply for the mandate from us and then we can see who is the culprit. All the applications are done over the phone or online. If it was for a loan then it would have been done online. Who is the company that you were told to phone? Can you not just give me the reference number on your bank account.

02 Nov 2018, 04:54Then please can you go to the police station and report a case of identity theft. We are trying to get rid of this sort of nonsense in the Debit Order environment and we need people to report this so we can get rid of Abusers of the industry.
