Bankmed & Dr Jacobs & Partner
Unresolved claim due to Dr charging higher rates then agreed with Bankmed. Bankmed Health Partners Team failed to follow-up and resolve the claim. I have not had feedback in over 10 business days and multiple calls to Bankmed Support to resolve the matter.

30 Mar 2026, 13:44Yes, I've been contacted but the issue is not resolved. I will need to log this matter with the HPCSA as per communication from Bankmed today. Frustrating because my contract is with Bankmed and I've followed my contract correctly by going to a doctor that is FULLY covered on my plan and network. Yet the Dr is charging incorrect fees for consultation as to what they agreed to with Bankmed in their contractwoth Bankmed. I would have thought this issue needs to be resolved by Bankmed and the Dr and I as a client of Bankmed be reimbursed. My funds are tied up with the Dr until this matter is resolved. How can I trust Bankmed to guarantee my coverage as per my plan.
Frustrated but apparently nothing more can be done from Bankmeds side.
