SCRATCH AND DENT PANELBEATERS BALLITO

On 17 February 2026, I took my vehicle to Scratch and Dent Panelbeaters to have the roof resprayed and to repair several scratches and dents. Unfortunately, the agreed work was not completed to any acceptable standard, and in many cases, it appears the work was not done at all. From the beginning, I was concerned that Noel, the owner, refused to provide a written quotation and insisted on cash payment. Despite this, I proceeded, which I now deeply regret. Two days later, I was informed that my vehicle was ready for collection and found it parked at the Tiger Wheel & Tyre Ballito branch. Upon inspection, it was immediately clear that the work I was charged R4,000 for had not been properly completed. When I raised these concerns, Noel responded by verbally attacking me in front of other customers, shouting and using extremely inappropriate language. When I later went into his office to resolve the matter and collect my vehicle, the verbal abuse continued. As an elderly woman, I found this treatment not only disrespectful but deeply distressing. I was further shocked to learn from the manager at Tiger Wheel & Tyre that they were assisting Noel by allowing him to park vehicles on their premises. After this experience, I reviewed his business online and found numerous complaints from other customers describing similar behavior and poor workmanship. I strongly advise others to avoid this business. My experience was unacceptable in terms of both service delivery and basic human decency.
