Good day, I am writing this email out of extreme frustration and dissatisfaction regarding the outcome of my claim. The decision that has been made is unacceptable and, quite frankly, does not make sense based on what was communicated to me during the assessment. The assessor who attended to inspect the washing machine verbally confirmed that the appliance is in good condition. He specifically mentioned that the machine still looks well-maintained and does not show signs of damage or neglect. He further explained that the issue could be related to the motherboard, as it is not sending the correct signals for the machine to perform the spinning function. However, what is written in the final report is completely different from what was said to me in person. I do not understand how the same inspection can result in two conflicting versions. What was verbally confirmed to me and what has been documented do not align at all, and this raises serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the assessment. It must also be noted that the washing machine is only three (3) years old. Labeling this failure as wear and tear is unreasonable. If this were genuinely wear and tear, the machine would likely not be functioning at all. Instead, the machine still washes and rinses perfectly — the only function that is not working is the spinning cycle. This strongly supports the likelihood of a specific electronic or mechanical fault rather than general wear and tear. I find it extremely concerning that a possible motherboard failure was mentioned during the inspection, yet the claim has been declined on the basis of wear and tear. These two conclusions contradict each other entirely. I am now left questioning how the final decision was reached and why the assessor’s verbal feedback does not reflect in the report. I pay my insurance premiums in good faith and expect claims to be assessed honestly, accurately, and consistently. This outcome does not reflect that standard. At this stage, I formally dispute the claim decision and request that the matter be reviewed and escalated. Should the claim remain declined, I request a detailed written technical explanation clearly justifying how a three-year-old washing machine with a single failed function qualifies as wear and tear, especially in light of the assessor’s own comments regarding the appliance’s condition and possible motherboard issues. I trust this matter will be treated with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I look forward to a prompt and fair resolution.

The service received from Assesstech was really out of this world. They are used by our insurance to fix my phone. They kept us up to date the whole time on WhatsApp and answer all our questions. After all the drama we had with Momentum regarding delay in communication, Assesstech told me this morning that the phone is ready for the courier, will be picked up today but only delivered Monday, after I told the brokers yesterday that my phone must be delivered today. Assesstech went out of their way to make arrangements for my phone to be delivered today and not only Monday. I am really impressed on their communication and keeping us up to date the whole time and going out of their way to assist us. I am truly happy with the service received from them.

What a bunch of clowns, They where appointed as the assessors for a claim of a very specialized industry and equipment, this being simulator racing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt here and happily comp**** with the insurances request to have them assess. Well turns out, they actually could not assess the item as it requires a license which they have never procured, but yet they have the audacity to claim to the insurance the item in question is 100% functional, without knowing what the item is and how the item works. They went as far as stating to the insurance company that they will even come fit it to the simulator and prove to me that its working, turns out when my simulator builders state that they welcome but it will be under the supervision of them, Assesstech back tracks 180 degrees and doesnt want to do it anymore. Assesstech will get immensly rude and arrogant, when they get called out about experience and their know how of specialized product then promptly throw the phone down in your ear. I am utterly shocked that they wanted to claim something works when it doesnt. Seems more so that they wanted to come for a joy ride and mess with my rig rather than doing the honorable thing and stating that they dont have the experience or know how to deal with it. Honesty goes along way and thid company certainly has none, I'd suggest to anyone that takes out insurance to check first if they use this company because my word. Ive never experienced anything of the sort. To Assesstech, Consumers are not stupid or uneducated, especially at the level i am with my equipment, get with the times and realise that you cannot lie and don't get upset when you get caught out.

It is very sad that Assesstech was sent to me to assess the inventor by my insurance. Their technician by the name of Ronald open lithium battery that was only 2 weeks old even after i told him that the battery it is still new and the issue is with the inventor. Now i am stuck with a battery that has no warranty and they claim that they are accredited to open and access devices and when i ask for that Mr. Filipe Dos Santos said they will write an email to the shop owner. I have never come across such a bad service in my life and i really do not want to work with them anytime in the future because they hide behind emails that they end up not responding to. The only thing that i requested from them is the warranty and they can take away the battery that they have tempered with its warranty because my claim was never about the battery

So my home insurance is VIRSEKER, I put in a claim for my laptop and 2 UPS's. the send out Assesstech consulting services. these guys rock up 4 hour late. needing to borrow my own tools to open up the units and have a look at the serial numbers and take some photos. now, my laptop does not even switch on, but in the report is said, turning on. the UPS's goes off when the power goes of, and in the report it said, no damage found, wear and tear. these guys tested NOTHING, then the write a report as if they looked at my stuff under a micro scope. utter useless. come on VIRSEKER, please use better companies.
