How to terminate account with no deposit?

Hi, I need advise from those who have created an account with arotrade. After signing up to Bitcoin era, to activate your account, you need to sign up for arotrade. Immediately after signing up with Bitcoinera, I received a phone call. The lady pressured me to make a deposit but I insisted that I didn't want too. That was a red flag. I did some research and came across this thread. So what happens when you make an account but have not deposited money? I have written to their customer support to terminate my account and they said they will email me about it soon. Has anyone terminated their accounts before?
