I bought a brand new Renault Kiger 2024 model last year from hillcrest. I have been having issues when utilising the brakes ..squeaking,metal sounds that are irritating. The car only has 17000km on the clock. Today i was booked in for brake pad checkup upon calling my salesman yesterday complaining, the call i just received demands I pay R3000k to fix my brakes which are not even 1 year old…somebody please help me understand how this is now my problem. I am not happy at all with the brand now and the service I received. Renault must sort this out NOW!

Purchased a brand new Triber, about one n half years started giving issues, the AMT clutch had gone ,now all of sudden warranty doesn't cover it,reasons for it going is pathetic, must be driven a certain way ,but I mean it's auto so u just put drive n reverse, than apparently vehicle cannot go on alot inclines n hills so that's why it fails,no one said that we have to have 15 to 30 000 to repair a new vehicle less than two years, between Renault Hillcrest n Renault SA they both go back n forth putting u in a corner as your vehicle is parked off n u have no choice to repair on the own, dealer principal was suppose to call back bt till date didnt,I paid 15k for this repair of which they wanted 18k ,refuse half n half or Evan carry out repair as it's their fault on vehicle

As my Renault Duster 1.6 Expression has a 5 year warranty, Renault South Africa and Alpine Renault Hillcrest were there when I needed them the most. T-towing promptly arrived with a rollback and took the vehicle to Alpine Renault. I received a number of follow-up calls from Renault South Africa, and within four working days, the electrical issue was sorted, and a battery on loan fitted, as I could not afford a new battery at the time. A few days later I returned to Alpine Renault to have two headlight bulbs fitted free of charge. They are a busy bunch, but we're gracious enough to assist me.
