DISGUSTING SERVICE FROM ADUMO

DISGUSTING SERVICE. If there was a -10 star, Adumo will get it. They do not reply to emails or phone calls. Unable to resolve problems. They only know to send terminals so they can bill you. Unable to order loyalty cards. Itumeleng.Mogopodi- biggest problem- cannot resolve or respond. Lood du Plessi- suppose to be in charge- does not respond also. I would say- Stay away from this company. I wish their senior management of CEO/Directors get to see this email. What a waste. Was perfect when it was SureSwipe. After changeover, the wheels fell off.

Poor service you cant trust

Does not care for you business. They ignore mails you sent as it took more then a week and 5 mails, whatsapp to support and calls to get one reply that sending me to different department which also done reply. Stay safe, stay away

Bank Details Update Delayed for almost a Month

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve had with Adumo Online. A simple request to update my bank account details has dragged on for more than a month and still isn’t resolved, creating unnecessary problems in my accounting. I have repeatedly asked Giancarlo to finalise the update. I completed the online forms, received confirmation, yet the funds are still being paid into my old account. I’m trying to remain civil, as requested, but nothing has been done and the issue continues. Please update the banking details without further delay.

NO SERVICE FROM ADUMO!

Booked a card machine with Bachandwa which was to be used at a one day charity event on 26th July 2025. The machine was delivered one week after the event! I informed Adumo Support Team that I no longer needed the machine & that they could arrange to fetch it. When nothing happened I called again & spoke to Shana. Once again nothing happened so I called again & this time spoke to Masika. By now I was really fed up. I sent Bachandwa a Whatsapp message who rep**** that I would not be receiving any refunds in spite of the machine having not been used & in spite of my telephonic notifications! Thereafter I called Nthabiseng who I was told is a Supervisor. She advised me to send through a cancellation email, which I did immediately. I am at a loss as to why the other staff members to whom I had previously spoken did not advise me of this process. Although Nthabiseng was most apologetic about the bad service received, I fail to understand as to why Adumo is not refunding me the money that they have been deducting from my account over the last 3 months for a machine that was delivered a week after the event took place & has therefore never been used!!!

Much Ad(un)o about everthing!

As a consumer, Adumo is the most frustrating loyalty card experience. I received a loaded gift card from Robertson Wines. (Thank you Robertson!) I tried using my card at a local corner shop and not one machine would accept it. Now I am trying to order via Takealot, because online research says my card can be used anywhere that accepts MasterCard. This is clearly not the case! Customer service emails take days to get proper, coherent answers, and the non-toll-free number is not available over weekends. What a crushing disappointment. What do I do now?

Hidden costs

a while back I had the misfortune of signing up for the Adumo payment plat form as they offered a slightly lower rate that I was paying at the time. They basically locked me in for 24 months rental of R361.33 per month on the speedpoint device . At the time the saving with the lower rate more than covered the monthly Rental rate. Almost a year in I was approached by another competitor with a lower rate which was a no brainer and I signed up but the advantage is to buy the speedpoint device upfront for R499.00 . The Monthly Savings was quite substantial and I was happy to pay Adumo the monthly rental despite not using their speedpoint. Then as of September they started to charge me an extra R500.00 and when I queried this, they stated it was a minimum transaction fee. I have been in business a long time and I have never come across such exorbitant fees charged for a payment platform that you arent even using. Fortunately the contract expires end of October and I will be rid of the most expensive payment platfom on the Planet !!!

Don't get adumo cart machine

I regret ever signing with Adumo. The card machine is unreliable, and now I’m stuck in a 2-year contract that I cannot cancel. Even though I am not using the machine, they are still charging me monthly rental fees and even added a R550 penalty. This feels unfair and like a trap for small businesses. The support team does not help, and they only push for more payments. I would not recommend Adumo to anyone looking for a reliable card machine or fair business practices.

Adumo Premium Imali card, are they legit?

I am new to Adumo and on register a card received I could not even read their terms and conditions I need to acknowledge. every single so called terms and conditions gives you an error page. then on trying to call the contact number the number is just dropped. no answer. How can I even consider to register something when its starts out like this. very scary!!! who makes someone sign T&C's that are not even availbable.
